Instructions are not the easiest to follow, but really well made and solid toy
I am really, really impressed with this. My son is currently army-obsessed but, as Lego don't do anything army themed, I had to look for something else. I aw this and thought for the price it seemed quite a good buy and the reviews were pretty good, too. His birthday was today and I spent most of the hours between waking and rushing for school and work building it! The instructions are quite small in detail so if your eyesight is not great you may struggle a bit. I tended to have to the use the images of the constructed pieces and see where the lines were on them to see where pieces fit, so not a easy going as Lego. However, the finished piece is brilliant! I find with 'real' Lego, it goes together beautifully but it's rarely something kids can 'play' with. We have had so many kits which are in bits again within days. This is great from a re-build perspective (if you manage to save the pieces) but for younger child it ends up going in the main Lego stockpile. When you pay what you do for these kits, that's not really what you want. The tank I finished this morning is solid. There are a couple of bits which are likely to come off, but the general build is solid and will take a bit of roughing up (Sorry, battlefield action) before things will start falling off. It looks great, has plenty of cool detail on it and is good and strong for a 6 year old to 'play armies' with. Highly recommend!

Very happy with this, easy to build and good quality
You sometimes don’t know what to expect with toys that are compatible with big brand products but this is really, really good. Good quality pieces that fit well together, good instruction booklet and a sturdy end product. I’ve bought two of these and they were both very good. It’s not the famous branded product but its a very good equivalent and my boy loved the end product. (If you are building at night, get a bright light for the instructions, some of the grey pieces seemed to merge together, in my eyes anyway!)

Must have for kids who like army toys
This is a must-have for children who love army toys. Too bad that Lego don't seem to do any army theme sets, but this one is a great addition to legos. I have no idea how easy it is to assemble it or how sturdy it is once built, but would imagine, you will need the help of an adult to help build it. This was bought as a christmas gift and I was told that they loved it so I've made a good choice and I'm well pleased!

Good if you are into soldiers.
Overall easy to build although I do find the instructions a bit small compared to lego and had to take a photo from the phone to enlarge it at times. The quality of pieces are decent, not as refined as lego but good enough. The figures were a little fiddly to assemble. Slight moan was that I thought this tank would be 2 tone as shown on the box, but it is only 1 colour, a very dark green almost grey. The lighting on the box photo made it look like it was 2 tone.

impressed
As Lego fanatics - we were dubious about the quality and were prepared for the worst when this arrived but were pleasantly surprised with the set; both with the tank and the figures. The instructions were easy to follow and the pieces felt as good quality as lego. We were a little disappointed that the figures did not look like lego minifigures but found them to be good quality and more malleable so they were easier to pose. The tank looks realistic and has withstood being played with by my clumsy 4 year old. I would buy more items from this range and find them to be good value for money. It's a shame that Lego don't do military sets but these are a very good alternative at a reasonable price.

Happy Son
Brilliant value for money, my son has been asking for Lego army vehicles for a while, but they do not appear to sell any. He was more than happy to help us build this and he loves the little figures. The tank is sturdy and has survived him playing with it non stop for the past week. Will definitely be buying The rest of the set up .
