HG Toilet Cleaner Gel Super Powerful, Limescale & Stain Remover – 500ml

I’ve tried a lot of toilet cleaners, but this Toilet Gel is by far the best! Even when my toilet looked clean, I noticed that over time, bad odors would linger, and the flush didn’t seem as strong. After using this cleaner, I was amazed at how much grime it removed from under the rim—places I didn’t even realize were dirty!The gel well to on surfaces, breaking down stubborn stains and leaving everything fresh and hygienic. It also helps prevent buildup that can affect flushing power, which is a huge plus.I also use HG Toilet Cleaner Gel Hygienic for regular cleaning of the toilet and the HG Toilet. If you want a truly clean and fresh toilet, I highly recommend this!

I live in an area that's absolutely terrible for hard water & I was totally fed up with all the hidden limescale/uriscale, & general nastiness that builds up under the rim of the bowl. It was even affecting the actual water dispersal as the toilet was flushed too & it really was starting to pong despite daily bleachings. Supermarket toilet cleaners, bleach (or even Cillit Bang/Viakal that usually eats its way through scale very effectively) just wouldn't deal with it or break this nastiness down at all. Additionally, they're just not thick enough to be persistent but this toilet cleaner is very thick indeed which allows it to cling to the nastiness for longer & get the job done. Personally, I also needed something strong & effective enough to do the job without me having to scrub around & under the rim of the toilet bowl due to severe disabilities. Ultimately, it took 3 separate applications & I used up the whole bottle whilst leaving it as long as humanly possible in between flushes each time. However, over the span of a day it gradually broke down more & more of the awful scale with each application & I visibly noticed large clumps of foamy goo falling out from under the rim. (I also noticed the smell getting considerably worse for a few hours after application which was a further sign that this cleaner was successfully eating its way through all of the nasty scale/deposits.) I DIDN'T NEED TO SCRUB AT ALL EITHER. After the final application had, had sufficient time to do it's job I simply flushed the toilet & wiped around under the rim & the scale was completely gone. (I've spent a small fortune on other products trying to sort this problem out over time, then one relatively cheap bottle ended up doing the job entirely in less than 9 hours with no effort required at all.) Everything is all completely smooth under the rim like new, the toilet is actually flushing properly again for the water dispersal, & no more nasty niffs at all. SUCCESS!!!!I've ordered another bottle for future use as this cleaner is highly effective with absolutely ZERO EFFORT required, (the longer you can leave it applied the better & multiple applications may be required for long term build ups as well). I'll just use it more frequently in smaller amounts in the future so the toilet rim doesn't ever get as bad as it had in the first place. A second bottle should go a lot further than the first. Very straightforward to use & no special handling required at all. Whilst it is VERY effective it is quite pricey so I'm dropping a star for value for money, otherwise I'd happily recommend it & as noted I am ordering again myself. 4/5.

This stuff actually works!!! I was honestly pretty skeptical at first but wow I can’t believe it looks brand new now. I used to feel embarrassed whenever we had guests, worried they’d think we didn’t clean the toilet, when really it was just limescale that was impossible to get rid of until buying this.My tip: first get rid of all the water in the toilet (I found a TikTok on how to do this). Then, instead of just 20–30 minutes, leave the solution in much longer!!!! I let it sit for 1 hour, scrubbed with an old toothbrush, reapplied another layer, left it for 2.5 more hours, and gave it a really thorough scrub with the toilet brush. Some spots were super stubborn and hard to reach, so I went back in with the toothbrush but all the hard work was totally worth it.Highly recommend this product!!!!

Great product it does what is say after 1 clean it removed most lime you have to do little bit scrubbing but toilet look great now.

I live in a hard water area and after not too long our toilet bowls accumulate lots of limescale below the waterline.This stuff does work, it take time and sometime multiple applications. To get rid of heavy build-up I found myself squeezing really quite a lot of the bottle in, may 25% of it in one go. I stirred it into the water as otherwise it's so thick it just pools in the bottom of the toilet. Then leaving it overnight. It will remove some of the limescale doing this. But it may need another application to get it properly clean.I think with the restrictions on selling acids these days that the cleaners just aren't of the same strength as they used to be.

WOW! This stuff is BRILLIANT!!! I contemplated taking a pic of my toilet before and chickened out. Trust me...the limescale was bad, hey I live in Yorkshire, hard water nightmare. It was across the bottom, all the bottom and proper hard and stuck. Followed the instructions, flushed turned water off to the toilet, got the remaining water in the bowl out using a mop. Shook the bottle vigorously, squirted away. Half a bottle. Left it 30 mins, it was doing something. Gave it some agitation with the toilet brush and coated under rim and around the limescale again. Left it for for another 2 hours. The timescale was like a foamy mush. Gave it a going round with the toilet brush. Turned water back on...flushed....ALL timescale GONE. I'll be buying this in future. Now for the downstairs loo...that's not as bad, so won't take as long. Very happy. Recommended.

I’m so glad I got this. I have had stubborn stains for about four months now and this has worked perfectly well for me.

The best toilet cleaner ever!I emptied the toilet bowl. Poured around the bowl. Left to sit for 6hrs. Used a drill gun with a toilet brush head accessory...And oh my wolly word. 3 super white & super clean toilets. Shame to the store brands I have been using for years. Not anymore.
