It's a really great concept and I'm on puzzles 7. I'm addicted. They are stimulating without being too difficult yet challenging enough that they can take a good 20 mins or more per puzzle. Have a notebook beside you if you don't want to write in it but I have to say I'm so happy I purchased this. Definitely will buy these as gifts. Great for those with time to kill, who want a brain teaser that's not just a crossword or suduko etc. The concept is quite simple. 2 page spread per puzzle. Page 2 is the puzzle while page 1 has a qr code and if correct that will give you a key to write at the bottom of the page. You cannot progress without the key as some keys are for puzzles further on. There is a demo puzzle, and the website is easy use. If you can operate a smart phone with a qr code scanner, have a pen, can use your logic then have a go.

A fun puzzle book and I love how you can access a forum for hints and help if you get stuck on a page.

What I like: The puzzles are varied in complexity. Some are seemingly obscure and yet when you solve them you think "Of course! How obvious!" The whole concept is excellent. This is a book where you can snap a couple of pages on your phone and take them to work for some dinner time leisure. Each puzzle is like a cryptic crossword clue and consists of either a pictorial, logical, mathematical or alphanumerical problem. Some need out-of-box thinking, others are more straight forward. What a FUN book!! What I don't like: the paper and print quality disappoints you when you first open the book - as though it was very cheaply made. This is more than made up for though when you get puzzling! :) PS. there is a help forum for anyone who thinks they may struggle. I've used it once to tease an extra hint my way. The point is, it's there if you need it so don't be put off. The other excellent aspect of the book is that you can't just go and Google an answer - haha! You actually have to THINK like we did in the ol' days... ;)

This is an amazing interactive book,if you like a puzzle

I love escape rooms and games based on escape rooms, it was so good to find something that worked on these principles that I could just pick up and put down and wander around the garden thinking about. Great difficulty levels and a friendly online community with hints to hand if you need them. I bought the other two straight away.

Bought as a present for my daughter, she seems to like it as she is avid puzzler.

With Journal 29 it was suggested that you would solve the mystery of the expeditions disappearance. You don't! But the puzzles are original, all very different and with the online hint pages you can avoid getting stuck longer than is necessary. This book draws you in and keeps you interested while thinking outside of the box. If you don't like one puzzle you can still solve it and you will like the next. The theme is strong but the story is left to your imagination. I am just not used to that anymore.

My bride had been eyeballing this book for a while after I had made extra change and bought it for her..... She's into decryption and puzzles which is all over my head but I have to admit this book is interesting.... The method of using this book in accordance with the internet to check your answers or "solution to the puzzle" is genius.... This way there is no way around cheating these puzzles..... My bride had even asked me for help on certain puzzles and I actually got the answer correct when she was blank.... 🕵️‍♂️👽 As for decoding I'm clueless but that's my bride's go to thing when she needs a time out or a cooling off to let off steam after a long day at work.... I love when she gets the answer correct after working on one puzzle page after days of dead ends.... She screams and cheers like she has won a marathon and I suppose she had..... Definitely a challenging puzzle coding decryption book and great for those who love escape rooms and can't get to one... "I escaped the puzzles on this page" she squeals every single time she solves a page..... She will be getting the Revelation book when she nears the end of this book.... This is the longest I have ever seen her finish a book like ever.... Shipping was fast too... I received this book four days later.... I have played URL based games before. So concept wasn't really new. But what fascinated me was how the author has converted the game in book format. Also the puzzles are excellent. I received today and couldn't stop playing. The hints on their website are good too...

Really fun, my partner and I worked on this sporadically for over a year before finally completing it. Very cleverly done, and definitely some 'outside the box' thinking. Defi itely getting the next book in the series

This keeps the mind occupied sonetimes difficult but great forum when you need hekp
