I have been dyeing my hair for over 20 years. For the last 6 years I have stuck with the Majirel brand of hair dye. My hair is coarse and porous. Previously this has meant that it tends to get dull quite quickly, so the colour would need refreshing every 3 weeks. Since discovering Majirel through a previous hairdresser, my hair has been shiny and I very rarely need to comb it through to the ends. I find if I leave it on the roots for 30 minutes, and just comb it through for the last 5 minutes this leaves it looking salon fresh. It covers my greys perfectly. My hair has quite a lot of copper in it naturally. I have just discovered this 'cool' cover majirel, as opposed to the original Majirel 5, and it is perfect for me. My hair has still got some dimension to it (i.e. it hasn't made the colour look flat), and it suits my fair complexion well. Once you have found the one there is no point trying another brand. This stuff is great. You certainly won't regret the purchase. You will need to purchase the developer separately. If you found this review helpful please indicate below.

I’ve been using dark brown dyes for a few years and wanted to lighten the colour. Used colour B4 which stripped a lot of the dark colour but left me with a brassy red tint. Used Majirel 6.1 in combination with L’Oréal Inoa developer. It hasn’t covered the reds unfortunately. Nice texture, thick and creamy smells niceI’ve now ordered a 5.1 in combination with majirel mix green. Fingers crossed
