Q: Does this actually leave a pink tint??

No. The bottle is translucent pink, but the product is completely a clear coat. Really has a nice shine, doesn't easily chip and my nails are much stronger. Love this stuff.

Q: Can this be used under a gel manicure (complete care, then base gel, then gel polish, then gel topcoat)?

Just buy it, you’re going to be glad you did. I bought it because I had weak, baby thin nails with ridges and the nail polishes never looked smooth. This fills the ridges and makes a great base coat. Nail polish stays on longer.
