Thundershirt Anxiety Dog Shirt Heather Grey (Large)

Thundershirt made a huge improvement to my dog's anxiety, specifically when fireworks are being set off. Combined with her safe space den, it has definitely helped her cope better during that horrible "Bonfire Night" fortnight. Sizing when ordering is a bit judgement based, its all about chest size. Fitting is a little tricky the first time until you figure it out, but is lovely and snug once closed up.

I was very sceptical as to whether this would work but it absolutely does We have a 5 year old Border Collie who is terrified of loud noises and especially fireworks. She is usually petrified for hours after the fireworks have stopped. We have now used the jacket several times and while she is scared when the noises are happening she calms down really quickly and definitely fined the jacket comforting.

Seemed to help our dog quite a lot.

We've exhausted over the counter products to help our very anxious dog and this was our last thing to try before he goes back to the vet. It does nothing for his separation issues and general anxiety. It does, however, seem to calm him down a bit sometimes when on a walk. Not as effective as we hoped for but better than a lot of other products that have done absolutely nothing. At least it also doubles up as a coat for slightly chilly evenings!

Well... So far so good. We have a cockapoo and I am sure it helped settle her easier... she was still a bit restless but more able to stay still and not keep trying to hid under everything... So, yes... really pleased so far...Fitted her really well, nice and soft material and was able to have it as a snug fit (which is adjustable)...

I would never have believed how effective this product is, if it wasnt for my niece telling me how well it worked with their dog. The first time we used it was during a storm and whilst it didnt stop our dog shaking during the storm she recovered immediately after it stopped whereas in the past it could be an hour or two before she calmed down. On fireworks night the combination of Thundershirt on in advance anticipation and some loud background music meant she didnt really go into that shaking state at all. It might not work for all dog but its our go-to now for trembling dog!

Well yes these help my dogs feel more settled especially for fireworks...so go someway to relieving the anxiety but not totally. Had them a few years now and they have been worth the purchase cost. Expected more but that was probably just hopeful thinking. My dogs are very anxious with loud noises and bangs and these shirts deffinately make it more comfortable for them

Our Border Terrier is so stressed by fireworks and I was recommended to get a thunder shirt or thunder coat. She was happy to wear it and it doesn’t impede her movement. She seems more settled wearing it so let’s hope this continues. First impressions are excellent. It is well made and easy to put on her.

I inherited a dog that had never been left alone. I am out for a few hours every day. He howled and cried even though there were 2 other dogs with him. He was not in a crate. The thundershirt is working wonders for him. Cries very little if at all. He is just calmer. Under vet direction, I also give him 2mg of melatonin for his anxiety. These 2 things really helped him.

My Jack Russell x would get very anxious (stressed and shaking) with thunder storms, when insects were in the house, and when having to go to the vet. Before trying anti-anxiety medication suggested by one of the vets, I thought I would try the thundershirt. It’s worked brilliantly. When she gets anxious, the shirt goes on and it calms her right down. She is no longer frightened going to the vets and, instead of becoming reactive (growling and trying to bite the vet), she is now happy to go to her appointments and the vet can give her her monthly injections without any reactive behaviour. In the vets words, they are now ‘BFF’s’! Thoroughly recommend. It may depend on the dog, but it’s worth a try before having to resort to medication.
