Extension Pole Brush Holder

We have a very high fence in our back garden and were having trouble reaching the top to paint it. An extended roller didn't work so we looked online for something else and discovered this extension brush holder which is perfect for the job. The holder screws into an extension pole at one end and a paint brush fits into the other end. It can take a fairly large brush as long as the brush handle is not too wide. I ordered the holder on the Wednesday midday and it arrived in the post on the Friday and the fence was finished in the afternoon. I would recommend the holder and Decorating Sundries.

This is a great piece of equipment. I have trouble straightening my arm to paint a ceiling and have struggled for years trying to overcome this problem, but this product has solved the problem when attached to an extension pole. Less physical effort needed painting a ceiling than painting a wall! Fits perfectly on the end of my extension pole that I already had which I use for window cleaning. The end for attaching the paint brush is very secure and even allows flexibility whilst either brushing forwards and backwards or from side to side. Cleans off easily after use. Wish I had found this earlier. Great price and good delivery. No more putting off painting ceilings!

I purchased this to paint a high level barge board (3 storey) using a 5m and 3m pole attached together. The pole brush holder was attached to the pole holding a paint brush. Although a little time consuming,this worked really well and saved the cost of a scaffold. However, the clamp holder is a little narrow and will only take tools (i.e scrapers and brushes) with narrow handles. In addition, the plastic finish is not particularly robust and I suspect that it will not stand up to frequent use. It worked well for the job I bought it for.

I'd been having loads of trouble trying to reach the top of our stairwell and paint the corners, and I found this and it did the job. As you'd expect when you're holding a six foot pole with a paintbrush on the end of it, it can be tricky to work but this is inevitable. Fact it without this I'd have struggled to get it done and it wouldn't look as good as it does.It is simple to use with two screws, one to allow you to put in a brush and the other to set the angle. Worked like a charm, and I've finally finished painting...

There are better products on the market.I just wanted something in my tool bag for the times I need a brush full of paint to stick on a roller pole instead of dragging large steps around for 2 seconds of work.The area where you put your brush into is incapable of holding anything larger than a 11/2''... it also holds it in at the incorrect angle... in other words.... the cutting in edge ... is at 90 degrees......useless.

Holds brush very solidly. If you take the metal insert out then also holds roller very well too. I went for the 5m version but can get by without extending it too much. No wobbles using the brush and only wobbles a little when lifting the roller horizontally to get onto the wall, but once upright it is fine and well worth it. Didn't need platform ladders at all for doing landing area.I used it with the Harris 5m extension pole which screwed on perfectly.

The brush adapter for the Harris extenable pole is a practicle solution to securely holding a small brush or indeed anything that will fit into the socket. Being able to adjust the angle of the secured accessory is the most important part.Trade Paints' Outlet packed the item very safely and delivery was very prompt.

Really useful tool For eg reaching angles when using an extension pole. Was able, with care , to paint behind drainpipes , cut lines around soffets etc when doing outside of house without needing to be at the top of a ladder (which I hate) . The angle function enables youTo exert pressure on the brush to cut a line /apply paint using an extension pole . Only reason it didn't get 5 stars is the size and shape of brush handle the holding clamp will take...don't expect eg to use a large handled masonry brush.
