Best brand for cold sores in my opinion. Gone are the days of using them thick white creams 😮‍💨😩 Compeed are the way for me now even though they are relatively large for what they are covering. I tend to cut them in half depending on the size of the cold sore to get more use out of them. Very easy to stick on and they stay stuck down for the most part of the day. The only issue is when you eat and drink the outer layers start to peel up a bit which isn’t cute. You can put lipstick and make up on it but I find that makes the edges loosen quicker. Best to use it at night or when you’re not coming out the house if you don’t want people to notice it. It gets rid of the cold sore or scabs it over in 2/3 days depending how quick you catch it. As soon as the tingle starts I wack one on and I find them really effective. They are pricey but for me they are worthy of the price!

Never tried these before but will definitely buy again when I run out. Better than the creams. You can't really see them when on. They are probably the size of a 5 pence coin. Easy to use.

These surprised me in how easy they are to use. I do wish they were a little smaller in size though as they keep getting caught on the hair below my lip and this makes it peel sooner. They do adhere well to my lip though, very sticky. Aside from that, thumbs up from me. 5 stars. These have really helped with a cut on my lip and provided the relief I was after.

Best worn at bedtime. Does seem to work. Once I've eaten breakfast it peels off. Was recommended these by a friend who swears by them. Been using zovirax

These are great as they help ease the pain and dry up cold sores quicker. I have used them for years and am never without a supply. Easy to apply and they stick well, depending on the area you need to cover.

Ive suffered with coldsores for as long as I can remember and have tried both patches and creams.Lets me just start by saying, these do what they say. They provide a more healthy environment for the sore to heal. They are discreet enough to give you some confidence to want to show your face but they arent invisible. These have been very good for me, as I have a newborn baby and these patches act as an extra safety measure on top of hand washing.Despite other reviewers saying that they are hard to apply or that they don't stick, I didn't find this to be true. They were easy to apply and usually stayed in place until I peeled them off to change them basically after 10-12 hours.However...As this is a patch, it hurts to take off and your lip will feel very strange and uncomfortable when you do peel it off - this might just be my experience however as they were not coming off on their own. If they have already started to peel then I imagine you may not feel as much pain.On top of that, I found that the patches did very little to actually ease the symptoms. Still alot of itching and burning.This is a good product but it more or less took the same amount of time to heal the sore as it would have if I had used a cream. The biggest advantages are having the sore covered to reduce spreading and that it makes it looks a lot less unsightly.

I’ve suffered with cold sores since my teens (I’m 30 now) and I’ve tried it all. I’ve used all the creams, red light and heat therapy sticks etc (which do also work for the most part). Recently I’ve been getting cold sores a lot more often and I was away for a couple of days when I started getting that dreaded tingling feeling without my usual treatments with me. I popped along to a boots and picked up a pack of these without much hope however, firstly I am so impressed with the invisibility of the patch, you genuinely can barely see it when it’s stuck down correctly on your lip and it really does make the cold sore barely noticeable. If you get it stuck down right, and don’t touch it, it should stay there all day/ all night without budging. It very much feels like a protective layer that drastically increases healing time. I started getting a cold sore most recently on a Friday morning, wore these patches religiously day and night and my cold sore was near enough completely gone by Tuesday morning! Without any other treatments applied at all! These really are great and I will use these in the future for sure. Plus the Amazon price is a few pounds cheaper than the boots price so win win!

These are great to cover up your ugly cold sores. If near your lip you need to dry it as much as possible to allow better adhesion. They're not perfect by any means as any excessive moisture can cause them to lift. I do think they helped my cold sore heal quicker than when ive used the cream
