This Spyraflo non-aligning needle-roller bearing with steel flange and two bolt holes is designed for mounting onto bearing surfaces perpendicular to the shaft axis. The flange is made of steel for strength and resistance to shock. The drawn-cup needle roller bearing insert in the housing supports medium loads, high speeds, and rotational motion only. The needle rollers are retained in a cage and roll against hardened shafts that act as the inner bearing raceway. The bearing is prelubricated with lithium-complex grease. This needle roller bearing operates under temperatures ranging from -22 to 212 degrees F (-30 to 100 degrees C). Designed with a regular straight bore, this bearing fits to conventional cylindrical shafts. Plain flanged bearings are for use in various applications such as heavy-lifting equipment, pumps, aircraft, and motors, among others.
