A very surprising little cooling fan...
A very surprising little cooling fan that suits my needs right down to a 'T' ! I wanted a fan that also had a mechanism for attaching it to a table top edge, or an open sideboard side, or any surface that is about a couple of inches wide. But I wouldn't attach it to anything that is more than 1.5 ( one and a half ) inches wide so that the attachment can get a good grip on whatever it is attached to. The fan is lovely and lightweight, which helps the attachment mechanism to serve its' purpose, the fan noise is more of a wind sound than a fan motor sound ( which I like ! ), it has two speeds, the attachment arm also has a turning locking type mechanism - for turning the fan face even if it is attached to something vertical as well as horizontal - so it can be adjusted to face different directions. ( I will be gently twisting the fan mechanism for facing the chosen direction. It is made of plastic. ) The mains plug cord length is about five feet and five inches long ( good thinking ! ). I will personally be using the fan to cool the air surrounding a PC router and home network switch. And it suits my needs just fine. I could easily see this being used as a portable small fan to be used where wanted in a home or office. A good buy for me, and pleased with its two speeds and attachment arm. Note: It does not come with a USB power connection. It comes with a mains plug. Great delivery and on time with Amazon Prime. ( Thanks ! ) 5 stars.

decent for the price
Not a bad fan, works fine and good for my wife as she is going through the change. Kicks out a reasonable amount of air and isnt too noisy. The clamp could do with being a bit wider jawed though as it wont clip to our bed head which isnt that wide

Small but effective
Exactly what my wife wanted. It clips onto the shelf on her side of the bed, offering a quiet and surprisingly powerful stream of air. The useful thing is, that you can pop it on a shelf when you’ve finished with it as it has a small footprint. A very efficient little fan.

MOST Important Advice
This fan is brilliant and very useful. However, as with all fans, after prolonged use, (I'm talking many months), this fan, like all others, will cease up. All you need to do (with any fan) is; 1. Face the fan downward. 2. Ensure that the fan is disconnected from the mains. 3. Take a small bottle of light engine oil (I recommend Singer super oil 125ml – available from Amazon) and drip the oil into the air intakes (all of them). 4. Connect the fan to the mains and turn on, with the fan facing straight down. Let it run, like that, for ten to fifteen minutes. 5. All fixed for another six to twelve months of running again. I do hope that this helps everyone, it's a problem with ALL electrical fans. Dust anywhere and everywhere! They say, "Dust thou art, and unto Dust thou shalt return." Which means that there are loads of people sharing our homes! (And getting into our fan motors.)

worth every penny
I can't recommend this highly enough.....i struggle at night when its too hot, this is quiet enough on lower speeds to be pretty much silent. It moves enough air to cool me down...the fact you can angle it in all sorts of ways is a real bonus. The remote control is simple and easy to use.....small enough to easily lose too but i can do that with a full sized tv remote!! Very happy buyer..... just adding this as a little bonus....incase you are wondering about cleaning the blades. If you look at the back of the fan ...the white plastic part......if you look at either the 6 oclock or 12 oclock position depending on your orientation you will see a small chrome screw around the edge of the white plastic. unscrew this and you should see 2 marks on the case that indicate locked or released...the black front rotates about half an inch and then comes off so you can clean the blades. please make sure you have it disconnected from the mains cos those pesky touch buttons are far too easy to catch. Then just put the front back on...rotate to the locked position...and rescrew the screw. One tip i can give you is to use a long bladed thin cross head magnetic screwdriver, the longer the driver the better as i tried with my ifixit driver and it was almost impossible!

Not silent
Good fan but it’s absolutely not silent, sounds like you’re in an air tunnel.
