The best thing about these is that they WORK. I have 12 cats all rescues from early age all have been castrated and spayed. The one thing when you have that many cats you risk the chance of fighting or spraying where they spray urine up items in your house to mark territory. Since we started using these after many other cheaper and more pricier ones these were the only ones that worked and did not leave a horrible smell in the house. Some others we tried stink worse than the cat spray but we found soon as we purchased one of these to start all the cats just went into ime a hippy from the 70s and were rolling around quite near to where it was plugged in. All the fighting from the top 4 cats stopped and they went soppy. All the spraying from several of the cats started to slow down and over the week stopped altogether. These were on a low price and we bought several of these and now just buy these refills now as the main unit lasts a lifetime so ime informed. We have a 3 bedroom house and we plug ours in on the landing upstairs and that's all we seem to need when we come out the bedroom all the cats are asleep on the landing when we switch this onYou can leave it on permanently but we only stick ours on at night as it's pointless during the day as the cats are usually out and if you got windows open what's the point having it turned on its pointless plus it lasts longer when its switched on from about 7.30pm to 8.30am when we start hoovering. I recomend these to all cat owners as these really do work. It's made our life so much better especially now all the spraying has stopped as that smell is horrendous. Plus it's nice to see calm cats. You are advised to use this one for more than one cat or they do another for a single cat home but usually if you only got one cat you dont get the hassle of spraying so much if you have a Male that has been castrated and the females dont spray.

My two cats that have lived together since being kittens (although not litter mates ) suddenly stopped getting on , there was a bit of vicious fighting , notable avoidance of each other making for an unhappy home . I am not sure what happened (have read it could have been tension caused by a fox that often was in the garden ) but it was very upsetting as I was used to my cats happily playing and sleeping together.When I first plugged this in I was expecting nothing short of a miracle .. which didn't happen , the fighting seems to escalate . I wasn't sure if it was the Feliway and considered unplugging it , but decided not to. I would say it took about 3 weeks and finally they are back to being best friends , playing and sleeping together , and any fighting is clearly play fighting now. I am so relieved , I am sure these issues wouldn't have been resolved without this plug in , have ordered another , but will use it less and less until I am sure the problem wont reoccur.

Absolutely superb product every time this has run out my cats have started fighting, I go over to the plug and lo and behold. It’s empty. This has happened far too many times for it to be coincidence and as somebody with a background in science and experiments I have concluded that this plug-in really works!

I have 2 cats that occasionally fight but also usually play together just fine. One of them has had a recurring medical issue that the vets have suggested could be down to stress and recommended using this product.I've used it for 3 months now and although the medical issue has not returned (yet) they do still have the occasional squabble as they did before.So I can't really say whether this is actually doing anything to help, but I will keep purchasing as it's worth it even if not for the fighting but on the chance that it is helping with any underlying stress.I can't smell it, and it lasts just over 30days. Would recommend setting a reminder to check if finished as the plug can get quite hot so could be dangerous if it stays plugged in but is empty

We have two cats who are brothers, from the same litter.Most of the time they get on well, but sometimes have the odd spat.However, the fighting was getting a bit out of hand at one point - and there were some indoor spraying incidents (despite them both being neutered).I tried Feliway Classic and also Optimum - both helped a bit, but there were still clashes. I was told by a friend who works for a vet that the pheromones used do differ by type - and that the Friends option was best for siblings.I've now tried the Friends diffuser, and it is working. There's still the odd fight - but not as nasty - and the spraying issue has improved.It's not cheap - but I'd rather pay out for this than have to pay for new furnishings - and it's much nicer to have two cats around who are pals, not rivals :-)

I dunno if it’s a coincidence but the few days we don’t have h to see plugged in the cats were on a mad one . We had 4 cats then. A 1.5 year old 1 year old and 2 4 month old kittens. There was little to no mixing needed when we got the kittens but when this ran out the 4 of them were a bit hyped up. When it was back on for a day or so they seemed grand again.What I thought was maybe a product for the sake of being a product may be something my group needed. Will update the next time we run out..(these go out of stock and the 3 pack is great value)
