Expensive but top quality.

I have very fine, long hair, but a lot of it. It is the most tangly hair ever. I have struggled for years with detangling my hair (which tangles very easily) until I found this brush. I bought this as a replacement for one of the same make and model that I've probably had at least 15 years if not longer. Excellent value for money and the only hairbrush the detangles my hair without making me scream blue murder (I'm 46 years old). Having used this for quite a while now I can say from experience that the quality of this brush is not what it used to be. The bobbles come off the pins very easily, which did not happen on my previous Denman D200 Vent Hair Brush with flexible pins. Also the pins themselves are not as sturdy as they used to be. I cannot see this brush lasting anywhere close to as long as its predecessor. I appreciate 15 years was exceptional. However, I do expect a brush to keep hold of all of the bobbles on the end of its pins for at least 6 months. That did not happen with this brush, which was very disappointing.

There was a sharp edge to one of the outer edge bristles that scratched but it picked off after 5 or 6 attempts. Can't really feel it now. Certainly wasnt enough of an issue to return it. I've bought this same hairbrush for the last 30 years and have no intention of ever buying another brand or model.

Hair is sitting nicely today. Really nice, lightweight brush which is ideal for my layered, shoulder length hair. I agree with the previous reviewer who stated this was good for use with arthritic hands. One of the other reviewers mentioned that they were expecting a more rounded brush? I have bought this type of brush many times over many years and it has always been this design. Perhaps they meant to buy the tunnel vent brush? Indidentally, Denman, if you are paying attention - please bring back the blue and black lightweight vented brush - that was my favourite and my local hairdressing supplies shop informs me that they constantly get asked for that style.

This is a super little brush for blow drying. It is small in size and light but is sturdily made. My hair is fine and shoulder length and this goes through wet hair with few tugs and what knots there are I can easily tease out. With large spaces between the teeth it acts like a comb for separating layers for drying. The small size means it will easily pack in a handbag. But best of all, this is British made, over in Bangor near Belfast. Denman have been on the go for a long time and long may they continue.

A good sized vented hair brush. I'm no hairdresser, but I find this very useful to blow dry the roots to add volume as the vented part of the brush helps to heat/dry the roots fast. This gives it lift and volume.

Decent but the balls break off the end easily.

I had one of these brushes for about 20 years so I thought it was time to get a new one. Would highly recommend

My husband has been using this brush for many years and finds it the absolute best for his fine hair. He appreciates the ball ends being gentle on his scalp and the overall brush design being gentle yet effective. The vents allow heated air to move through the brush which speeds up drying as well. I should add that this brush is also exceptionally durable. We simply place it in the top rack of the dishwasher to clean and sanitize it occasionally and get many years of use.

This brush is fantastic! It really speeds up my blow-drying time, and it's incredibly gentle on tangles. A definite upgrade to my hair routine. Highly recommend!

This hair brush is truly the Rolls Royce of Hairbrushes. I was hesitant at first in ordering this given the price but I can honestly say it’s worth every penny ! I’ve been using this incredible brush now for over 6 months and it’s still in fantastic shape and not one broken bristle head !! I have extremely thick hair and usually in the same time frame I’ve needed to replace or throw away inferior brushes after 1or 2 months but not this incredible brush . Do your hair a favor and just BUY IT !!
