What power does it operate and what kind of plug ? 110v/220v ? uk/eu or us plug ?

I've just received mine and it's come with an EU Schuko plug. I'm a bit frustrated because I'd read the other answers to this question, so I was expecting a UK plug. I'm deciding whether to return it or purchase an earthed adapter.
