Excellent quality shaving products
Having recently returned to double edge razor shaving I was looking for shaving products to compliment the joy of DE shaving. I’ve tried numerous products over the years including from London based barbers but I have to say since I’ve been using the Proraso range I’m hooked. I’m currently using Proraso pre shave cream, followed by shaving soap and completed by aftershave balm. All the products effuse quality and style (as perhaps Italians do so well). A smooth shave with no nicks or cuts (as DE razors have a tendency to do), the razor glides smoothly over the skin and the balm provides instant cooling and hydration. The pre shave cream has a strong(ish) menthol smell which does make the eyes water a little but combined with the shaving soap brushed on with a quality badger hair brush the skin is left very well prepared for a close shave. The joys of DE razor shaving combined with the Proraso range makes the whole experience enjoyable and for anyone looking for quality shaving products that don’t break the bank and leave you feeling clean and fresh post shave then don’t look any further than the Proraso range- definitely recommended. This is an honest review and I have purchased all the products myself.

If you usually just lather up, I would recommend this as a good way to prepare your face for shaving. A real treat!
I needed new shaving soap and looked at Proraso. I saw that customers also used pre shaving cream, something I had never done before. I was initially drawn to the beautiful packaging as I love Italian design. I also like brands that have been around for a while; Proraso, as I have learned is well established and much loved by barbers around the world with a long history. The overwhelming positive reviews also made me take a punt and click purchase. So is it any good?Yes! The first time I opened the pot I was won over. The smell is divine; clean but not medicinal, fresh and distinctive.I use this as a pre shave cream. I was getting razor burn before and needed something that would soften the bristles. This does that beautifully. It also wakes your face up - not in a burning way, just a lovely invigorating sensation. I apply it ten minutes before I shave and that is enough.Razor burn has become a thing of the past and my face feels alive and refreshed. You don't need to apply much, I think even this 100ml pot will last a couple of months even with a daily shave. If you usually just lather up, I would recommend this as a good way to prepare your face for shaving. A real treat!

Wow!
Having never used a pre shave oil or cream, I'd recently tried and admired the Proraso white purely for its scent. I was then curious to try the green flavour with its eucalyptus and menthol blend. Whilst an odd combination I was intrigued.Open the jar and a lovely clean, fresh and warming menthol scent grabs you. It's also possible for the eyes to join in as they begin to detect the menthol in the air. Applied to skin that has been dampened ready for shaving, a little cream goes a long way. After a short time the lovely aroma begins to almost clear the nasal passages and skin begins to feel fresh, cool and tingly. Post shave - and like the Proraso white - a close shave is the end result, whilst also enjoying a lovely, subtle fragrance. With the soaps used, my skin feels soft and hydrated with no need for balm. And whilst Proraso's aftershave lotion is optional, I always love to apply that too!Although this cream is a pre shave product, others use post shave too. Don't. Whilst the ingredients are no doubt good for skin, applying post-shave ruins the clean skin experience and leaves the face feeling somewhat clammy. Instead use Proraso's aftershave lotion.

Nice, but be careful who you order from
I like this one best as it's quite refreshing. The others are dull in comparison and I won't use them.Note: DO NOT buy from 'All Access Store'. You will receive the wrong item - charge you for the green and send you the cheaper white. Meanwhile Amazon will expect you to fix their mess by taking time out of your day to return it, if you want a refund. Looking at their feedback, I wasn't the only person that was duped.

Very Smooooooth
Very refreshing smooth shave, use it for after having a shave as well for cool calming effect. Nice smelling as well. Will definitely be using this cream from now on. Well worth the money. Looks like it will last a long lot of shaves as well. Highly recommended.

I’m impressed!
I like everything about this cream - from its lovely texture and scent to the stylish, old-fashioned, thick glass container. I use it prior to using my shaving soap and it certainly helps me achieve a close shave. Highly recommended.

Make the blade glide....
This is the second jar of this fantastic shaving cream I have bought from Amazon.Wash your face as normal, pat it dry then just take a small amount of the cream from the jar and work it into your bristles or beard. It has the most amazing aroma, menthol and eucalyptus which smells amazing.I recommend leaving it on your face for about at least a minute or so to give it time to soften the stubble of whiskers on your face, then apply a nice thick lather of shaving foam on top of the cream. I use traditional cream applied with a badger hair brush. You could use an aerosol shaving cream but in all honesty, they aren't that good compared to the more traditional method of shaving, something of a lost art in itself. This cream under the shaving foam, acts as a lubricant strip you get on the expensive blades from well known brands that cost a small fortune. I jar of this cream and a jar of any good shaving cream will easily last you up to 6-7 weeks. Saving you a small fortune on the disposable blades from the big manufacturers if you use a traditional wet shave blade which is something I strongly recommend as an experience. This is a quality product, the packaging is simple but heavy. It oozes class when you apply and use it. Its so simple to use and makes shaving a pleasurable experience again rather than a daily chore.
