Lifesaver for relief and comfort
These gel pads are amazing for both hot and cold therapy. When used warm, they really help with letdown and clogged ducts, and when used cold, they soothe soreness and swelling after feeding or pumping. The soft cover makes them comfortable against the skin, and they stay in place nicely inside a bra. Easy to clean and reusable, which makes them super practical. Definitely worth having on hand during the early breastfeeding journey.

A must have when establishing milk supply!
Managed to build a bit of an oversupply while my baby was in NICU, so when I transitioned to breastfeeding and pumping a little I got very painful engorgement and blocked milk ducts. I used these extra warm out of the microwave and they worked wonders!! I went from unable to move due to the pain to almost instant relief!

Best for Pumping Mums and Colostrum Harvesting
I originally bought these 2 years ago when exclusively pumping breastmilk for my daughter to help relieve the occasional blocked ducts. Cold Therapy I have used them for cold-therapy only a couple of times but found they worked well. The instructions say to put the packs in the freezer for 4 hours prior to use. After this time the pads are stiffer but still easy easy to place around the breast. With the covers on the pads give off a pleasant coolness rather than being uncomfortably cold. The cold temperature is very soothing on blocked ducts and every time I used these, along with massage, the problem area was quickly healed. One thing I would say is that the packs do not stay cold for very long. I would use them during a 20min pump then put them straight back in the freezer. Heat Therapy I used these pads more regularly for heat-therapy. Depending on the wattage of your microwave the packs need heating for 11-16 seconds, one at a time. I found this a little awkward as my microwave can only be set in 10 second increments, so I would put both packs in together for 20 seconds and found this heated them to the perfect temperature. The packs are just pleasantly warm rather than hot, much like the warmth of a baby on your breast. I found that when I used these during pumping, I didn't make any more milk than usual but it was expressed from my breast in less time. The packs themselves are clear and you can see the gel pearls inside. The biggest issue that I found is that the pearls can move around freely from segment to segment, so they tended to gather at the bottom and left few at the top (see photo). The heating/cooling instructions are printed onto the pads so you don't have to find the instructions if you forget the timings. The covers for the packs seal with velcro and are easy to remove and clean. I leave them inside the covers to microwave/freeze and haven't had any issues. The covers can be clipped into a circular shape around the flange of a breast pump to stop them falling off during use but they don't stay close to the breast unless you hold them there. I found the most effective way of using them was to just tuck them inside my pumping bra. Overall, I was happy with these packs and they have survived many uses in the microwave. I have recently had my second child and found that these pads were useful in encouraging letdown during prenatal colostrum harvesting. I haven't had any use for these pads since my second baby was born. I have mainly breast fed this time around and the natural warmth of baby combined with breast compressions during feeds means I haven't needed help with expressing milk quickly or blocked ducts. So I would say these pads are best for pumping Mums rather than breastfeeding ones.

Breastfeeding must-have
This is a must have for breastfeeding. I had horrible pain in the first few weeks of breastfeeding, and these pads were a saver. Very easy to use, include the fabric cover that is soft to the skin, and so no additional wrapper is required. I would buy again.

Helps to ease pain and can be used for multiple purposes
Recommend having these before you start on any breastfeeding journey. The coldness eases the discomfort to an extent and the shape is handy. Would be better if they were bigger but appreciate the quality for the price. Also, there they are designed to go round the nipple but the sharpness of the plastic can be uncomfortable when breaking into your breastfeeding journey so recommend using a pad with them. I’ve still got mine in the freezer even though I am no longer breastfeeding. They are handy for when someone has a bump to act as a cold compress. And great that you don’t need to be mindful of water when behind g to defrost. The versatility goes further and you can pop them into a cool bag to keep your drinks and food cool.

Would not recommend, don’t stay cold for that long…
I purchased these at the start of my breastfeeding journey, when breastfeeding was quite painful. I found these quite useful for a few minutes… I only used these for cold therapy so I can’t comment on the hot therapy aspect. I would find once you’ve took these out of the freezer and applied the product on your boobs, they would only stay cold for a few minutes at the maximum and then would be hot. Which isn’t useful, as you would need these to remain cold for a longer period of time to provide more relief. I would not personally recommend these, as it’s much easier to get a tea towel and some frozen peas and apply them onto your boobs and cheaper as well!

Great product, especially for clogs and mastitis!
Bought these while dealing with mastitis and they’re awesome. I keep one next to the microwave and one in the freezer. The warm one helps with flow, and the cold one helps calm any inflammation after feeding - highly recommend!!

Great product. As described. Have only used hot so far but helps with relieving blocked ducts if used before pump/bf and i use whilst pumping for general milk production. Arrived on time.
