The range of this excavator is truly amazing. My third child is only a few years old, while my eldest is in his teens. Both of them are having a great time playing with it! The younger ones enjoy watching the lights and listening to the sounds, and even simple operations can make them laugh happily. The older ones can challenge the precision of the digging and even use it to design the terrain in the backyard. I couldn't help playing with my children myself, competing to see who can dig faster. The atmosphere of parent-child interaction was particularly wonderful.

This excavator is way better then I expected. My son been playing with it non stop since we got it. The remote is easy to use and all the functions work just like a real excavator. The lights and sounds make it even more fun. Battery last a good while too, wich is nice. As a mechanical engineer, I gotta say, I'm impressed with the design. The build quality is solid and the movements are smooth and realistic. I wasn't expecting this level of detail in a toy but they really did a great job. The arm, bucket and rotation all work just like a real excavator and it's got some decent power too. Even in loose dirt or small rocks, it handles pretty well. It's not just for show. If you got a kid who loves construction vehicles this is a must have. Heck even I have fun playing with it! I might need to get a second one so we don’t have to take turns! Definitely a great buy worth every penny!

The arm simply stopped working when I uncovered it, disappointment, the circuit burned, I can't stand playing it, it's only pretty on the outside, it has metal inside that makes it very heavy.

The functionality is great. Realistic boom and bucket functions. It you really wanna have some fun, make sure to buy a dump truck to go with this excavator.
