Farriers Equine Care Biosect Mite Spray For guinea Pigs (250ml)

Used for static lice that sticks in the hair. Worked. Great stuff. Smells nice too.

Adopted a new piggy who had hay mites, very easy to use this product as could apply without handling the nervous piggy. Treatment was very effective.

I got this as I noticed some very small lice on two or three of my longer haired guinea pigs. You can see them like small flakes of dandruff- but moving! I’ve been keeping them for years and they’d never had lice before. Mites, yes but never lice. My son’s guinea pig was treated for this with Xeno spray from the vet and it was very expensive. I wanted to see if there were any home treatments I could try first. I trimmed the hair a little first, then tried the treatment method with shampoo. I went on to buy the pack with conditioner and spray. I thought I’d have to repeat the treatment but it has never come back. Just be careful around the head and ears. Great to have the treatment in now in case it comes back. Apparently it is usually from other guinea pigs but can possibly be environmental.

Smells fantastic! Seems to have done the job it was intended for. Guinea pigs have no signs of mites now and seem happier

My sow had a small patch of hair loss which was very slowly getting bigger looked and appearing to be hay mites I used this product once a week for three weeks and looks so much better ,so I would definitely recommend

Had been looking for alternative and more cost effective mite/lice treatments for our guineas-the ones with 2 or 4 pipettes get expensive when you have 16 piggies! This stuff is fantastic value for money. Very strong minty smell so not for you if you don't like that. Very happy with this product.
