A custom-fit, affordable solution
Finally - a decent, fantastically-priced solution for the dogs in the boot! No more jumping over the seats! No more slabbers over the back headrests! What I love more than anything about the product is the price. It wasn't that long ago you had to fork out £100+ for something that would fit your car specifically or the custom-sized ones that did exist were also out of the question for me.While the instructions are less than clear (even that is too kind), you eventually realise there is only one way to put it together, by looking at the pictures. Thankfully it wasn't a "le grille" Homer Simpson experience - it turned out like how it was supposed to rather than a work of post-modern art.The clips are hard to push in to attach the side pieces to the main piece, but assuming you have your sizing right, you only have it do it once anyway, and your fingers will only be sore for a short time. The unit secures itself to your headrest using a screw (choose from 3 lengths supplied for your needs) and a hook.My middle back headrest is hinged, rather than a vertical movement as shown in my photos. This means that it can only stay in the upright position which reduces visibility in the rear view mirror. I might give it another go in the down position but the down-side, if you pardon the pun, is that the unit will have to effectively *bend* around it.The benefit of course is that all you have to do is unscrew both sides and it pops out, ready to put the seats down for a trip to the dump or anything else you need to use your car for!I can say this is a 5 star product for £20 that is sturdy, fits well, and I am sure will last a very long time.

Fits Dacia Sandero Stepway
Had to use the side wings however fits well in my Dacia Stepway. A bit fiddly to fit but only took 10-15 minutes. Sturdy once tightened up. Dogs can’t get through so works well! Also really well priced.

Great value sturdy guard
Great value headrest guard which has been fitted to a 2014 BMW X5. The guard was easy to put together on my own, and very sturdy once installed. This is the second Sakura guard that I have purchased. The only negative is that the screws provided of which there is a selection of 3 different lengths (up to 80mm), are not long enough for a BMW X5 (SUV), and were also not long enough on the previous Sakura guard which was fitted to a BMW X3. I purchased some M6 x 100mm Hex bolts in a local DIY store which fit perfectly. The guard also seems to be easy to remove if needed. Overall very impressed.

Fitted perfectly
One problem we have had since we got our dogs is finding a decent barrier for the car. My wife has a Mini, and while she loves the car, it is not very large. The barrier that is "for" the Mini is, in my opinion, ridiculously priced. Typical of BMW but still, you'd think they would have some decency and charge a realistic price. So, we've been hunting for something that will fit and not cause issues. It has taken a while, but with the police getting more and more anti-motorist this has become a "must have" thing. Unsecured dogs in a vehicle is no longer accepted, no matter how well behaved they are. But, to be fair, it is safer for the dogs as well. This prevents them flying through the car and into the front in an accident and perhaps sustaining severe injuries.I bought this for her and it arrived within a couple days. I admit I was not impressed as it seemed rather flimsy for what it was supposed to do. The wife took it, fitted it and reported back to me that it would be just fine. Of course I had to have a look as I was not convinced. Not that I don't trust the wife, I just didn't trust this item. However, once it is fitted and secured, it is actually a heck of a lot more secure that I believed possible. Of course, it uses the car frame and seats to mount, but it is firmer, and tougher than I thought possible. Whether it will stop a couple heavy dogs I don't know - and I hope we never find out. However, we are now compliant with the law, the dogs are admittedly safer than before - as are my wife and daughter when they take the dogs out.Money well spent, and this is much better than I expected or believed when I unpacked it.Plus, for considerably less money, this fitted the Mini like a glove. It is a shame that car manufacturers feel empowered to charge stupid amounts of money for something that is not only required by law, but required for the safety of animals and humans. This is well made, it is clean with no sharp or jagged edges and the panels slide easily to fit wider cars. Fitting was simple and straight-forward with no struggling. Bonus is that it works as expected, and is secure enough that it feels like it will work when it is needed.

Good but be warned
Fitted in about 45 mins and no issues ‘now’. Warning to all though, seen this on a few reviews so please watch out. Quality Control is not good. Hence 3 Stars. Check carefully before committing to ‘keeping and fitting’ to you car. There was an extremely sharp spike on mine (see photo) that, had I not noticed would’ve caused damage to car, me or even worse dogo! I took a metal file to it and smoothed it off. That aside, it looks good value for money, sturdy and im sure will be fine now. Im more than happy keeping it just be cautious.

Should fit most makes of car with rear head restraints
Item is a bit fiddly to put together, the pressure clips pop out every now and again, if the clamps had some type of rubber or plastic stopper they would fit better on headrest stem. Other than that it does what it’s meant to do, good material used in the frame itself, pity it doesn’t come in different colour, but all in reasonable product.

Well Pleased
Pleasantly surprised that this actually fitted my 25 plate Landrover Discovery Sport, but it does! Doesn't rattle, was a bit fiddly to fit and the clips were tight (but that's why it doesn't rattle!) Personally I think it is great value and the dog is well happy because she can ride safely in the back! 🐶 Seems quite robust
