Do not buy for follow me function or battery
The media could not be loaded. First thing only one battery worked and would charge. Second battery won’t charge what so ever.If you purchase for follow me functionality drone will randomly disconnect as you can see in the video. It kept running and would respond to the app or the controller and had to wait for it to crash. After many attempts assuming user error(from a tech savvy individual) I noticed it really was just disconnecting and would loose signal but application and controller would say it’s still connected.Crashing into grass it just falls apart, not sturdySave and buy a more reputable device

Poor camera quality for “4K”
The drone is a lot of fun to fly and the price point is not bad. The camera quality is not 4k but it’s still a good drone, if you are looking to buy a drone for videography for weddings and such this is not the one. Also the controller for the drone itself is very cheaply made

Bad for money
The drone crashed on first testing. Not durable.

All the basic-advanced features needed for stable hi-res video & photos; no object avoidance
The media could not be loaded. Item: Attop brand Mdl. W80 DronePrice: $369.99 (after vendor’s $30 discount)The Attop Model w80 is what I would refer to as a ‘Basic Advanced Drone.’ It has a number of advanced features, not including object avoidance, that certainly qualify it as a more sophisticated recreational drone and possibly a commercial photo-video drone. I’m limiting my use to recreational. And yes, I’ve logged about 5-hours of flight time with the W80 and have to admit I am impressed with its flight performance, GPS navigation features and the 4K camera with gimbal, given its current price point. The Attop model W80 drone comes with a molded case, the foldable drone, two rechargeable batteries (about 25-30 minutes operating time each), a proprietary charger for the batteries and one ‘spare’ set of propellers and mini-machine-screws with screwdriver. There’s also a hand held control unit that links to the Attop View application. The app allows you to link to the drone, provides digital controls and real-time video via your cell phone.Unique to this level of drone is an internal GPS system along with a 4K 2-axis gimbal that provides impressive automatic flight features; ‘return home’ where the drone, upon pushing a dedicated button, will return to the point at which it took off. That’s a GPS related function. The ‘point of view’ circling of the operator/control unit and the ‘follow me’ features are based upon the wifi linking between the drone and the control unit using (5-gHz). I've done several ‘Return to Home’ runs at both very low to ground altitudes and the maximum ‘Novice’ altitude limits of just under 100-feet. It's usually no more than 3-feet off the starting takeoff point; sometimes closer.I’ve noticed that the drone does a reasonable job of stabilizing in place. But I’ve also noted a lag in ‘control stick to drone reaction time.’ I see this with both ‘over-travel’ on the camera-tilt as well as forward-lateral travel of the drone. The perpendicular to ground rotations are something I usually do a bit slower. But even there I have to gage when to release the stick (usually a bit early), to avoid over-rotations.When reviewing the Attop W80’s vendor page for comparable drones and their features/pricing matrixes, I could see that the Attop fitted in with a field of very similar packages. I would share that if you’re doing comparisons, you might focus on the following ‘common features’ that I found were shared between the Attop W80 and other comparables on the vendor page. While the drone chassis shapes may be a bit different and the controller designs slightly different, the Attop W80 and its comparables on the Amazon vendor page appeared to share the following functional features…..4K ‘EIS’ (image stabilization) camera with 2-axis gimbal / Dedicated App and backup cellphone recording of photos and video (limited to 1080p video on cell) / GPS-Compass system / Brushless Motors / 2-batteries (est. 20-30 min./battery) / 2500-ft distance via 5G-Wifi / ‘Follow Me’ function / Point of Interest (circling the operator at 'app chosen radius-distances) / ‘Return Home’ function / Molded carrying caseIn regards to this being a ‘training drone’, I’ll share that even though I own and trained myself on a very basic 1080p camera drone with no gimbal control or GPS, I was extremely cautious from the start with the Attop W80. I’ve kept the W80 in the ‘novice mode’ at the outset (set in the Attop app), and limited my initial flights to low level until I better learned all of the functions of the drone. The 'operating-level-modes' (like 'novice' for starters) and altitude-distance settings can be adjusted in the app.The following are some tips I can share…..DRONE WEIGHT 1-pound 3-ounces with battery, thus requiring some registration/testing THE microSD CARD has to be rated for 4K video; I’m using a U3 rated card (you supply)CHARGE both DRONE & CONTROLLER before you do anythingREAD the USERS MANUAL while the batteries charge, you'll need 3-4 hrs. per batteryLOAD THE APP and do all user-manual ‘step by step’ calibrations before flyingREMEMBER THE CAMERA-COVER remove-replace; camera-gimbal is touch-sensitiveATTOP VIEW APP has a ‘sample screen’… hit ‘next’ for the operative screen(…before I figured that out, I thought the screen had frozen…)Would I recommend this drone? Yes. While it doesn’t have an avoidance system, let alone a sophisticated avoidance system that could follow you through a maze of obstacles, it can certainly provide respectable video and photo results, which for a recreational operator are most usually the focus.

Its a good one but could be better…
Before writing this review, I contacted customer service for more detailed information and what is not usually in the user manual. Here are my results:Pros, cons and more...- Customer service is available and answered my specific questions in no time. They are knowledgeable and friendly and in my experience 5 stars without a question!- 6 months established warranty after drone registration with the manufacturer (Afterservice.VIP)- SD card slot on the drone up to 128GB. It is possible to save photos and videos on a smartphone if thereis no memory card in the device.- WLAN 2.4 GHz for drone operation (cannot be changed)- WLAN 5 GHz video and photo transmission to a smartphone- No optical avoidance sensors- No camera settings such as aperture, exposure, resolution etc.- Video saved on a phone 1080p 25 fps- Video 4K 30 fps stored on the SD card- No firmware updates possible- No additional batteries or propellers available for sale yet. (OEM) After some research I found out thatthe propellers from RUKO (F11) are the same and are available from Ruko or Blomiky for example- Take off not possible without GPS connection (in-house security function)- The phone holder on the controller feels a little flimsy- The brushless motors means the drone is more on the "quiet side" without that annoying loud noise thatothers haveThe controller software and display are basic but come with pretty much everything you need to fly this drone. You can also wirelessly connect the controller/drone to a smartphone and with the Attop View app you get more control and specific settings. (Recommend) Div. Video filters and music can be used during video recording. All flight modes work as expected with no issues. The operation of the drone is very accurate and remains stable in the air.I can't say anything serious about the maximum flight time, as everything depends on it: weather conditions, operations, flight maneuvers, photo/video use, etc. In my test flights, experiences of around 20 minutes were quite possible! (One battery)Overall an ok drone in this price range, maybe a bit overpriced and not just for beginners. A comparison with a DJI drone would not be fair and should be made with products from Holy Stone or Roku etc. It is definitely not a child's toy! Flying this drone in “Beginner Mode” works very accurately! (Max. 30m height and distance) The Drone offers you everything you need for maximum fun.I can give it a low 4 stars for simplicity, but without the ability to purchase some extra propellers and/or batteries (spare parts) from the manufacturer I have to lower my rating to 3 stars.**Important for USA: Due to the drone's weight (over 249 grams) you must register it with the FAA (online $5 valid for 3 years) and pass the Recreational UAS Safety Test (TRUST) (free online)I hope that my review can help you to make the right decision.
