Great rugged watch, vibration alarm that WILL wake
I am so impressed by my new watch. I was previously wearing a fitness tracker / smart watch by the one of the most popular brands. I felt constantly checking sleep and health stats were actually having a detrimental effect on my wellbeing and mental health at the moment. But I relied on it as it had a vibration alarm, I work shifts as a Train Driver and have to wake up hours before the Mrs. I found this one which had a vibration alarm and compared it to a few others. I chose this one mainly because it had the cool factor. I really like the watch. It certainly looks the bees knees. Rugged and tactical in its appearance. A bit like me 😆 The vibration alarm works really well. It is plenty powerful enough to wake me from my sleep. The light is a bright white LED to illuminate the watch face. It looks modern and does a great job of increasing the visibility in darkness. It has the option to illuminate through gestures, ie a flick of the wrist to check the time it should illuminate. I found this feature to be a bit temperamental. Only about half the time it worked and I found it to be a massive annoyance at night when it would turn the light on according to my movements whilst asleep. Thus waking me up. I turned this feature off the next morning. The actual display is very simple to read. Even at a glance. The background is black and the numbers are clear. In terms of navigation, with the aid of the instructions I managed the user interface with ease. It is really simple to operate and set alarms. I like when you get back to the start clock face screen after scrolling through the menu, the watch gives a little vibration buzz to signal this. This watch looks rugged and I reckon it is indeed up to an adventurous lifestyle. I've only worn it in the shower, no swimming yet, but I will update in the future. The strap seems durable with its double buckle. I like how you can unscrew the watch strap, inevitably it will snap at one point in the future. And it is good to know another watch strap could be screw to it. I may purchase one now to keep for the future. The watch sits comfortably. It is large but not oversized and the buttons work well. The only negative point about this watch is that there are only two options of alarm alert. I use the vibrate to wake me up and not wake the wife up. But for those times when it is imperative to definitely wake up I would have appreciate the option to have both the audible alarm and vibration alarm to operate in unison. Note that this watch came delivered to me in a metal presentation tin that looked great. Also included was the warranty and genuine certification documents.

Wow.
Had many bud get Casio watches since the 80's that served me well for years, replacing each, after the battery or strap went. They all had fairly loud alarm sounds to wake me up for work, except the alarm loudness decreased from watch to watch as the years progressed, but all kept good time accuracy and water resistance. I decided to buy a Timex Vibration Expedition Grid Shock in 2019, was very happy with it, until all the functions failed after 3 years of use, leaving just a time function and nothing else. So decided to buy the GD 350 and pleased so far, especially the vibration alarm , vibe time signal and the negative display, which can be easily viewed in most light and boosted by the powerful backlight, if needed. This watch like all my other Casio's is more a digital companion, than just a time piece, a well made and accurate watch, the G-Shock has a sturdy quality build, with a superior look. I select and set a normal daily alarm, out of the other 5 alarms, followed by the snooze alarm, which gently goes off at 5 minute intervals. The vibe feature is not like a taser on the cheaper Casio vibration alarm version, but more a subtle and effective statement, which does wake me up, as a moderate sleeper. In all , I find this watch comfortable, with useful functions and interesting features, such as world times, flash and beep, and timer etc, that are well detailed by the other buyer comments.

One of the best basic with vibra
Great watch, one of the best or not the best negative in g-shock family. Black/gold style is perfect, almost like tactical style, and with vibrant it’s like that.

Still The Best Value Tough Watch!
I'm a G-shock owner for 20-odd years and I've been happy with all of them. They're excellent value for money if all you want is a cheap "everyday beater" watch, and so long as you don't use the backlight or alarm much, they're good for around 7-10 years before needing a battery change. I purchased a Luminox Scott Cassell from Amazon during the same week, and whilst it's clearly a much more premium feeling watch that is thinner and smarter in appearance, it cost over £200 and yet I'm not expecting it to last as long as the G-Shock. Not saying that Luminox are bad, it's just testament to how durable G-Shocks are. There are no real bad points, but slight negatives for me would be: a) The watch does feel a bit cheap - especially the strap, but then they are pretty inexpensive. I'd actually rather pay a bit more for a nicer strap material. b) It's very good for a negative display, but it's not very clear in low indoor lighting so you'll need to jiggle the watch around a bit to catch a viewable angle. You could hit the backlight button, but it will kill your battery life. c) The best feature of this watch for me is the vibration function. It's really handy having non-audible alerts, but they're a bit on the weak side. I'd say about half the feel of my fitbit charge-HR as a point of reference. Other than those slight gripes (and I'm really not complaining at this price) it's the perfect everyday watch for me!

;P Se vi è piaciuta la recensione, please LIKE IT grazie :*
