Fantastic little Ariel
Absolutely fantastic picture quality with this tiny little Ariel, was using the usual indoor aerial with the telescopic antennas but would have to move it around when watching certain channels and got quite a bit of interference depending on weather, since plugging this one in no problems at all,was a bit sceptical even after reading reviews but so glad I purchased it,well worth the money for such a little thing

Small but Mighty
This little aerial is genuinely tiny. Once you plug it in and find the right spot, it gives a really solid signal. The “right spot” will depend on your room, the weather, and possibly sheer luck, but once it locks in, it works really well. No extra power needed. Just the aerial cable and you’re good to go. The magnetic base is handy too. Stick it on something metal and it clings on like it’s holding on for dear life. Great for caravans, bedrooms or anywhere you don’t want a giant aerial taking over the place. You might have to do the classic slow walk around the room while watching the signal bar, but once you find the sweet spot, it just gets on with the job quietly in the background.

Excellent small aerial.
Really surprised by this. I didn't pay attention to the small size when ordering and when it arrived, I looked at the box and thought "that's going back", but gave it a go. It's not flimsy plastic and the picture is really good for a non-powered aerial (I wanted to keep the USB socket on the TV free), only very occasional glitches and the HD freeview channels are fine. Also the small size makes it unobtrusive on the window ledge.

Not sure if I can make it work
Just received this product . Tuned the tv and it worked . The next day it stopped working . I am not sure what to do but I will play with the tv till I fix it. I have an old caravan Ariel that works fine but it looks terrible..

Decent enough
Wasn't expecting much from this to be honest but when I plugged up and finally found a decent position for it to live (close to the window) it actually works a treat. I also used it during the euro championships and had the TV out in the garden when friends were round having a BBQ. Decent bit of kit for when you can't plug up to the main aerial

Small and powerful
Excellent. I live in a very old house with very thick walls and I am amazed this small aerial is so powerful and works so well. Thanks to whoever invented it!! :)

Excellent Reception and Easy Setup - Fantastic Value from Amazon
I couldn't be happier with my purchase of the High Gain Freeview TV Aerial - August DTA240, which I bought from Amazon. From start to finish, it's been a hassle-free experience and has completely exceeded my expectations. The setup was straightforward and took only a couple of minutes. All I had to do was connect the aerial, place it near a window, and it ran a channel scan. Instantly, I was able to access a wide range of free-to-air channels, including several in crisp HD quality. The picture is sharp and vibrant, the audio is crystal clear, and I haven't experienced any interruptions, pixelation, or lag, which was a big problem with antennas I've tried in the past. The design itself is another huge plus. It's slim, lightweight, and compact, which makes it easy to position discreetly without it looking bulky or out of place. The built-in magnetic base is a really clever feature, as it helps keep the aerial stable and allows you to place it securely on metal surfaces for the best reception. The cable length is generous enough to give flexibility in positioning, which makes a noticeable difference in reception. Performance-wise, it's outstanding. I was genuinely surprised at how many channels it picked up, far more than I expected, and all of them came through with excellent clarity. For the price, this aerial offers incredible value. It saves me money every month by giving me access to plenty of free channels without the need for costly subscriptions or additional equipment. It's also perfect for anyone who wants a simple, effective solution to enjoy digital TV without fuss. Overall, the High Gain Freeview TV Aerial - August DTA240 from Amazon is a fantastic product. It's easy to use, affordable, stylish, and most importantly, it works exactly as advertised. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants reliable, high-quality reception without spending a fortune.

Great Design But No HD Channels Yet
Received antenna promptly, and set it up right away. Set up was easy, just 1x RF cable. Very sturdy, but compact and easy to hide away. Didn't immediately pull in HD channels, hence the 4-stars, so I may need to do further tuning, but I think I would have been better off with an amplified antenna. Pros Compact Nice design Weighted/magnetic Base Cons Not amplified Didn't find any HD channels
