Everything you'd expect it to be

I had a pyrex bowl of this size for nearly forty years until a bottle of gin murdered it (the empty bottle was waiting to be put in the recycling and threw itself onto my poor innocent bowl which was sitting quietly beside it on the draining board). It is to be supposed that even so basic and simple and perfect a design as a glass bowl is going to change over four decades, and it has. It is a slightly different contour. The glass looks bit bluer in colour and not as thick/sturdy. The pyrex logo is for some reason raised on the inside of the bowl. It is a perfectly good bowl, nothing apparently wrong with it and as far as I can tell it is a genuine pyrex product (if it isn't then someone has gone to a vast amount of trouble to make extremely accurate sticky labels). It is not, however, my old bowl reincarnated, and that is really what I wanted. If I was a pryex virgin then I would be very happy with it. As it is, I AM happy, but yet...I mourn my dear old bowl, who had seen me and mine through many a mixing and food meal preparation occasion. RIP old friend.

Love the size and durability of this bowl. Very well made, super easy to clean (i mainly hand wash). I use this primarily for making salads everyday which is it a perfect size for.

Love this sturdy kitchen addition

You can’t argue with the quality of Pyrex so I was delighted to find this at such a great price Haven’t used plastic bowls for years as I found that I had to throw them out after only a few months because they retain staining and odours. My glass bowls have lasted years, with no adverse effects and are far more environmentally friendly. Glass also makes it easier to see whether contents have been thoroughly combined This bowl really is a great size and perfect for cake mixtures and pastry and, as previously mentioned, great price!!

Très bon produit je l'ai testé dans mon micro onde pour faire cuire des pâtes et sa fonctionne très bien avant j'utilisais un récipient en plastique qui n'était plus fonctionnelle CJM58

Perfect size bowl for snacking or for cooking (eg whisking scrambled eggs). Pyrex quality so you can melt butter in the microwave in it with no fears, or stick ice cubes in it and put it in the freezer for a party. Absolutely indispensable
