5 Litre Pressure Sprayer

This is a really good quality pressure sprayer and feels well built from the start. I’ve been using it to spray weed killer around the patio, driveway and garden, and it performs very well. The pump builds pressure easily and holds it nicely, so you’re not constantly stopping to re-pressurise.Spraying capacity is large and the overall unit looks good! The sprayer feels sturdy and reliable, with no leaks or weak points, and it’s comfortable to use even when full. It definitely feels like something that’s built to last rather than a cheap, disposable option. For the price, the value for money is excellent. It does exactly what it’s meant to do and does it well. A solid bit of kit that I’d happily recommend for garden and outdoor maintenance.

These spear & jackson 5 litre pump action sprayers with pressure release valve & adjustable shoulder strap are a very good product & are good quality & told not flimsy like others we have had. We have 4 of these the first were back in 2016 & they are still going strong. We have 4 so that they don’t need as thorough clean from solution etc because they are used for the same product the next time we have it marked on them with permanent marker so no mix up, contamination etc. Told a great feature is they have an adjustable spray nozzle so you can set it to the flow you require from spray to mist. & that another handy feature is on the side of the bottle it has litres & fluid ounces so you can mix products in the bottle. & that they hold 5 litres so they don’t need to be frequently refilled & it has a good length spray hose so you can rest the sprayer on the ground so saves the back. & that after pumping it a few times it does spray for a decent amount of time. Told they are a godsend & certainly make jobs a lot quicker meaning less exertion/strain on the body. Told they do have the odd leak hence why we gave the 4 stars & not the 5 stars but the pros out certainly out way the odd con. They can be used for many a thing told ours have been used to spray water seal/spray cleaning product to clean patios/spray thin paint for fencing/spraying weeds etc the choice is yours, whatever works best for you.

Well...I bought it for my bug killer but as I was testing it in the garden with just water I found it to be excellent in cooling me down in the heatwave as a shower mist. I cannot use it for the bug spray now as I need it for my personal cooling system which is delightful spray. Loving it to be honest It was very simple to use and logical. The handle and holder for the spray arm is very handy. Seems sturdy enough as I carry it around the garden with me. I'm going to have to buy another one but will paint it red so i don't get the 2 confused lol. For me I say it's worth the money as it seems solid enough and works well and is simple to assemble, it's done in less that 1 minute.

I've been through a few cheap sprayers that have leaked, lost pressure, or broken after a handful of uses, so I decided to invest in a trusted brand. This Spear & Jackson sprayer is worth every single penny and has completely changed my garden chores. The build quality is immediately noticeable. It feels robust and well-made without being overly heavy. The 5-litre capacity is the perfect size—large enough to tackle a big weeding or feeding session without being too cumbersome to carry. The best feature is the pump action mechanism. It pressurises with just a few easy pumps and maintains that pressure consistently until the tank is empty. The spray pattern is even and adjustable, and the lance is a great length for reaching under bushes without having to bend over. I've used it for applying weed killer, liquid plant food, and even for misting my greenhouse plants, and it has performed flawlessly every time. There are zero leaks, and it's easy to clean and store. dont bother with the cheap ones this is the one the seals always go on the cheaper ones i have had mine for over 2 years and going strong just remember to let the compression out after use and it will last

An excellent piece of kit, either for weeds or insect control. Holds good pressure, .good efficacy

I use a 5 litre weed killer in this pump spray - this makes the job so much easier than using the 1 litre spray bottles that I used to use, saving my back and doing the job much more efficiently (I have a large patio and driveway). It sprays quite well in terms of with accuracy, so doesn’t spray plants and grass I actually don’t want to kill, which is important! Easy to use and has a carry strap as 5 litres of liquid can be heavy. As the power fades, just use the pump action a few more times. The only downside is that the nozzle leaks weed killer after use, so I store the whole thing in a bucket to stop the weed killer leaking in storage.

I have a larger backpack sprayer, but wanted something similar, but smaller so bought this. It's typical garden sprayer construction of chunky plastic and metal parts, all of which are reasonable quality. Once purchased, check inside the container for the extra nozzles or you'll think they are missing.

There are instructions with this pressure sprayer and they are on the side of the box so don’t bin it without checking them out, as I did. Anyway it would be nice if you had some kind of information sheet because once you have attached the two alloy tubes and filled it up with water to test it you encounter, well I did, the problem of no pressure no mater how much pumping you do. If you also suffer from less than perfect hearing you miss the hiss of escaping air and so begins the search for which joint is letting the pressure out. Is it the tip? Is it the first pipe, the second pipe, the third with the handle or could it be the black plastic pipe? And if it is, which end ? Is it the relief valve or pumping handle. Well in my case it turned out it was all of the above. But it took ages and someone with good hearing to find the answer. Capacity is fine, pressure is okay, spray pattern is not so great. For the money and the brand name I had expected more, a lot more. But it does work, just not brilliantly.
