The only dog lead we buy
This is the leash we always trust for our walks. We’ve tried others over the years, but we always end up coming back to this one (I think we’ve bought three or four now). It’s just so practical and sturdy. We love that you can clip it into different positions depending on how short or long you want it, and it feels really secure even if your dog pulls. And our dog pulls a lot!Ours does fray over time, but only because he loves to bite it when he’s feeling cheeky (can’t blame the lead for that!). Despite that, it always holds up well and gives us great performance day to day. It’s comfy to hold and works beautifully whether we’re doing short lead training or letting him roam a bit more.Honestly, it’s one of those products we just automatically reorder when needed because it’s never let us down. If you want a flexible, reliable, and well-made lead that makes walking easier, this one is a favourite in our house.

Fantastic lead
I have a mobility disability and have purchased many leads and this item beats them all. I wish I had seen this sooner as its a game changer. It is very versatile and takes time with your friend to experience the technics that suits you. The two D rings are handy for your accessories and it has two attachments. I choose Red and it stands out which I wanted and it has that very slight stretch on a pull. For its durability and versatility at this price I am very happy and I recommend.

Really nice. Solid
Disclaimer: I generally don't know what I'm doing. Honestly, I really don't. This is our first dog and I'm almost as clueless as when our first child arrived. If you are in the same situation, hopefully this helps you and sets your mind at ease.Packaging and Postage: The packaging and postage was with Prime, so nothing really more to mention - fast as always and well wrapped and protected. In terms of the actual lead, the packaging is the commercial cover, which unfolds to give a neat little synopsis of the lead, its advantages and uses. More on that later...First Impressions: Really nice. Solid, thick and comfortable. The stitching is strong, the leash is fairly soft and the D rings are secure. Put simply, this is a quality product, not some cheap natty nylon cord.Design: So as I said, the cover goes through the different uses, and shows 8 layouts/methods of using the lead - from doubled, to two dogs, to round your waist for running. We have used it on precisely *ahem* 1 setting, as a lead. Don't get me wrong, for other training - Im sure its great - but for what I want to do (walk my dog - simple as that) that's all we need. Also, since getting it, you pay more attention to what people use. It is used a lot - on a wide range of Dogs. Take that as you want, but a lead isn't something you generally buy to fit in - you buy what is best for you.Use: Its a lead - there isn't that much to say. However, in the interests of covering everything - there are two clips. Both are strong and easy to clip on and off. You can make a handle with the clip at one end (as per the picture). It *is* soft for a lead.Longevity: We have a smallish Labrador pup, that is getting bigger by the day. As of yet, she isn't pulling me over...but the lead has had a fair few...stress tests. It has also been thoroughly soaked, chewed a bit and generally used as you would expect. No stitching has come undone, in fact no marks or signs of wear at all - and that's after about 6 weeks. It won't last forever, but I go back to my initial assessment. This is a quality lead.Overall: Offers lots of options (if that's your thing), easy to use and will last. And its cheap!

Fantisitc for daily use and training.
This is a fantastic lead! I had been purchasing a local product that I liked very much. Our dog chewed through our old lead and I needed one quickly. I ordered this Halti lead as it was on Prime and I new it would arrive the next day. I didn't have much hope that it would be as great as our previous lead and I also put an order in to replace our old lead with a new one from the same place as I had purchased before. The material, while soft, is very strong. The stitching is holding up extremely well. The clasps are sturdy and well made. There are 3 rings on this lead. One is right close to one of the clasps as a D ring (I hook this end to the collar ring), the next is in the middle and is a large circular ring, and the third is about 3 inches from the other end clasp. When we are walking near a road I clip the far end to the end that has the D ring right near the clasp by the collar. This puts the O-ring in the middle of the lead and I am able to slip a portion of the lead through the ring to create a loop for my hand. When we are walking away from the road and I am happy to have my dog on a longer lead I simply unclip the lead end that doesn't have the ring very near the clasp and then clip it back on itself on the D-ring that is about 3 inches from the same end. This creates a loop for the wrist. When I run with my dog I loop the lead around my waist and clip is around the material of the lead. I still have plenty of room between myself and the dog and feel very secure. My hand are free and if I need to correct the dog I simply reach down to the lead to make the correction. This lead is fantastic as an everyday lead or a training lead. It is a great price and very easy to use.
