Great for moisturizers and yogurt both!
I've been using this pH thermometer for a variety of projects, and it's proven to be a reliable and versatile tool. I've used it to measure the pH of homemade skincare and moisturizers, and it's also been a great help in my yogurt-making and liquid soap production. Most recently, I used it to test the pH while making hand sanitizer. One of the things I appreciate most is that it holds its calibration well. After testing it in my filtered water, I found the readings to be accurate, and I haven't had to recalibrate it since. It's also very straightforward to use—just press the power button and insert the tip. I've found that it's best to hold the thermometer in the product for about 20 seconds to give the reading time to settle and provide a stable number. The spear-point tip is great for semi-solid items like yogurt or soap, but it works just fine in liquids as well. My only minor point of feedback is about the instructions, which don't specify the accuracy of the temperature measurement (e.g., within 0.1° or 0.2°). While I haven't needed that information for my current projects, it would be useful to have for future reference. Overall, this is a solid and easy-to-use pH meter that has performed well for all my diverse home projects. It's a great tool for anyone who needs to accurately measure pH in a variety of products.

Can't see how you can go wrong!
Love this thing! I'm using it for soil. It's holding calibration and is giving accurate readings - and, it's far cheaper than my bluelab meter was - even far cheaper than simply replacing the probe on the Bluelab unit (though the Bluelab is excellent). And, it comes with a more generous supply of calibration solutions than others I've purchased, even including the ph10 solution, which I've never received before. And, it also came with a generous amount of tip storage solution. Of course, longevity remains to be seen.

What a waste
This thing is a piece of trash. I tried using it and the reading were off so bad. The fluid is so minimal and escaped the tip. You need to be a researcher to understand and even when I asked my friend who literally is one that works in a lab, she was confused.

Works great and easy to use!
I use this for my aquarium and I find it to be completely accurate. It’s a much quicker and easier way to check the Ph and way easier to read that those strips or water based tests. 100% recommend!
