Exactly as advertised. Was incredibly easy to install in the closet. I actually just hung it up with command strips! Works great and really lights up the closet. Note: Requires a LOT of batteries!

First off, the light is plenty bright, so that's a plus. Downside is if this is placed in a busy walking traffic area, the batteries will go dead much faster than expected. I used Duracell and they close to 4 months. The motion detection is good, but it does not reset fast enough. I went to the cellar for about 45 seconds and then back up the staircase and the light did not turn on in time for me. It was not ready to detect the motion again, so that is a big negative if you use this in a dark area where light is a necessity. Use a flashlight instead or setup. Likely going to use rechargeable batteries, but they will need to be replaced every 3 months. If placed in a convenient spot all the better. Good light when it works. Passage way only! Not on long! Works for I needed it to do!

The light was so easy to set up and the lighting was perfect for our laundry room.

Despite these motion lights going through several batteries (it holds 6), overall i like them. They do pick up motion very well even though they are NOT real bright they do the trick. i installed one in my pantry while we remodel and it doesnt brighten it as if it were an actual light bulb but it shines enough to see what you need. long story short, you get what you pay for.

motion detector almost never work unless it's in complete darkness. I placed mine in a closet and as soon as you open the door, the motion detector fails to work. On the other hand, I bought another brand to compare and that one turns on just fine. Note that I did test each brand of light individually.

The pull chain fell off on my fluorescent light( which still works) in my pantry and I wanted a quick fix without calling in an electrician . This really does the trick as soon as I open the door. It’s under a staircase, so I just screwed it into the wall! We keep reaching for that missing pull chain! Great deal in my opinion!

The product lights up my kitchen pantry great, but works only about 95% of the time. Even if the kitchen is dark, the light works, but every now and then no amount or arm waving will get the light to turn on. If I close the door and try again, the light usually comes on. Wouldn’t mind so much if I payed about $10 less. *Update - I have found you need to change the batteries every 3 to 4 weeks. The light uses 4 to 6 batteries. **edit** after 6 months I find I am replacing the batteries about once a month or more often. Was hoping for longer battery life as it requires between 4 and 6 AA batteries.
