These locks are easy to use (for adults) and keep our toddler out of the oven and freezer very well. I would've liked for the slider to work in the opposite direction, but it's perfectly functional. The adhesive is robust. It was inadvertently tested (which I'll get to later) and is stronger than the plastic it's attached to. I put one on the freezer drawer. My wife forgot it was there, and forced it open. 100% baby proof. The locking arm ripped off the swivel base before the adhesive failed. It took a while of scraping with a plastic blade to remove the adhesive So long as you fully clean the area where the pads will attach, these locks will hold very, very well. I recommend several scrubbings with rubbing alcohol before placing to ensure grease is not present on the surface.

These work great for our outside freezer to make sure the door doesn’t accidentally get left open. Easy to install and easy to use.

Although it’s marketed as a child safety device, we purchased it for a different purpose. It is used as an added security measure to keep our upright freezer door from accidentally popping open. Unfortunately, we didn’t think to buy these locks after the first time our freezer door wasn’t fully closed. The costly mistake happened again more recently, resulting in the loss of hundreds of dollars worth of frozen meat and food items. That was the final straw. Since installing these locks, we’ve had complete peace of mind. The freezer door stays securely closed, and we haven’t had a single issue in the four months since purchasing them. The adhesive has held up exceptionally well, and the lock does exactly what we needed it to do. While designed for childproofing, this product works perfectly as a freezer security solution and has saved us from any further expensive losses. Highly recommend for anyone dealing with a similar issue.

I opened the new sealed bag and was missing half of a lock so I really only got 4 usable locks. Other than that, the product is easy to use and works well.

Works great! I actually got these because my fridge wasn't sealing properly. I didn't expect them to be plastic, but they still work great. It's easiest to put the lock and the little knob together and then take off the backing to stick it to your fridge so you know it's being placed correctly. They also work great for keeping my toddler out of the fridge. She pulls on the handle with all her might, and the door doesn't budge.

My son has severe food allergies and while out of town visiting family members, he got into their refrigerator and had to be rushed to the hospital. I brought these to keep him out of the fridge during our stay. It’s easy to put on. It has 2 pieces that has the adhesive already on it. Wipe the area with alcohol first, peel and stick it on. It’s a plastic material but sturdy enough to keep him out. It came in a package of five or six and literally took me less than a minute to put it on.
