can it ride on little slopes 30 degrees& can we use the brake suddenly if we need

I have not had a problem with braking with this scooter. The amount of pressure that you press the brake will dictate the effectiveness of the brake on declines. However, if the surface you are riding on is slick or if you are riding in the rain with wet wheels, the brake slips and doesn't stop the back wheel as effectively.

Can it go uphill smoothly? I weight around 145 lbs

I weigh 140, but have only used it on level ground thus far, getting used to it. I am 59 years old and don't want to rush into anything to quickly! I love it thus far and it is helping me with my balance. It can really pick up speed on flat ground! Very smooth and responsive.
