Very sturdy and quick install

I bought this wall-mounted folding chair about a month ago. It is functioning perfectly. It is well built with ¾ thick wood, a strong metal hinge and nice hydraulic piston which makes it operate easily especially when lowering it. It falls slowly and smoothly to the floor with no hands. I mounted it behind a door and the door closes nicely near the wall. I put a stick-on bumper on the chair frame to soften against the door when swinging it. I would have given this chair a 5 Star rating except for the actual mounting. That was another story entirely. You need to be a good DIY'er to get it mounted to the wall. There were no instructions with the chair. The mounting hardware was ineffective. I had to figure out and buy proper hardware for the job. I had to do a lot of measuring & calculating and then fashioned a cardboard box to get the chair to the correct height for marking and drilling holes in the wall. I also strongly suggest putting at least 2 of the screws directly into wall studs.

It works great. Make sure you screw it into the studs.

The quality could be better, specially the metal connectors (the ones connecting the woods together) as it keeps falling
