I had tossed these in for the wife as a stocking stuffer at Christmas. They shipped bouncing around in a thin cardboard box, so they make a sound reminiscent of breaking glass as they hit eachother. I 'accidentally' dropped her stocking when I grabbed it for her which added some extra fun to it as she got to hear that sound and think a present just went into a million pieces. The actual tips work really well. We've not used the included bag, but it seems to be really nice quality. We primarily use these large tips for piping food other than desert. For example, taking a tart tray and baking salami into a cup shape then filling it with olive puree to make little muffeletta cup appetizers for our Mardi Gras party. I notice no difference between these tips and our Wilton ones. I hand wash and dry all our tips after we use them, so I'm not sure how they would hold up in the dishwasher. After several uses and the course of a month they show no signs of rust or wear in any fashion. They are definitely 'Extra Large'. I ordered knowing my wife wanted some 'really big new tips' but I had not anticipated just how big these would be. I think a 5 year old might be able to stick their finger through the round one. I literally just put an offbrand highlighter through it trying to think of 'what do people have around to compare to'. A Sharpie brand highlighter almost fits.

I dont like icing and have no desire to decorate cakes. I needed fat tips to pipe pastry dough for cream puffs, eclairs, macaroons, crullers, churros, piping merengue,filling cannoli, and savory stuff like twice baked potatoes and manicotti. These are just what I wanted. These are a good size. The metal is thick and sturdy. seams are welded and polished (not just folded), the teeth are even and strong I did take off one star because the straw/filling bismark tip is a smaller diameter. You can pull it right through the bottom of the silicone bag. It will either need a collar, a disposable piping bag with a very small cut, or maybe i can big feed the small one through the larger round as a way to hold it inside the bag, but none of these are ideal/plug and play solutions. All in, i am very pleased. update: bismark filling tip is useless without a pastry bag with a collar. I made eclairs (gorgeous), but there is no way to fill them with the tip included. Half of my pastry cream ended up everywhere in a complete disaster.. there is no substitute for a bag with a collar. If you have any icing piping kit it should work. I bought this for a pastry piping set of tips, and that’s what I got. I am very pleased with the large tips. I kinda wish they dint give me false hope by including the tiny filling tip because it isn’t useable without purchasing additional hardware

These are perfect! Can't wait to use them. Larger sizes ought be quicker for piping *Angel* Eggs and won't get clogged by the dill relish! Good buy! Yay on the freebie silicone bag too. No need to keep buying plastic ones!

I bought this set mostly for the tips and them work well and are of quality comparable to my Wilton tips. However, the bag is worthless. It was ripped out in the seam when it arrived. I “repaired” with packing tape and used it since I had a massive Christmas cookie and gingerbread house project in process but will throw it out and just use the tips with my excellent Ateco Wunderbag. For the price ($6.99 when I ordered it 10/21), you get what you pay for.

UPDATE: THIS ORDER WAS THE LAST THING I USED MY CREDIT CARD ON AND NOW.....FRAUDULENT CHARGES ON MY CARD. JUST SAYING....... Bought these for the large star tip for eclairs. Perfect size, easy to clean and you get the 5 tips....including the tip to fill the eclairs. Recommended!!

I've had this product for a couple of months now and finally got around to making churros which was the whole purpose of making the purpose. Now, the dough is much thicker than a typical icing or filling, but the seam spit far too easily. The dough was piping nicely when a 1" split in the seam opened halfway up the bag. I thought I could salvage the rest of the batch by removing half of the dough but a few churros later, the bag split from the bottom up making it completely useless. Fortunately I had an old, smaller piping bag that worked just fine to finish off the batch with no issues.
