So worth it
These cases are fantastic! I just started converting from my old DVD boxes to these and I love them. I'm saving so much room. Two of the slim cases equal one of the regular DVD case. You do have to cut a little bit off the sides of the cover for it to fit well. But it's pretty much unnoticeable. Looking to save room? Looking for more space? Definitely get these cases.

GOOD QUALITY !
I am transferring family tapes to DVD in order to save the memories. These slim containers are suited to keep my collection in good condition. And convenient to give to others by not being bulky. I have used these types of cases for movies as they are not bulky, they have covers on them so you can slip in info sheets or movie photos. The quality is good along with the price ! Lee

DVD case of high quality
The 7 mm is a great shelves space saver. This DVD case is of high quality (better than others I came across) and seems to be endurable (time will tell). The package arrived quickly. out of 60 pieces (3 packages of 20 pieces each) that I oredered one piece arrived defected. Therfor I rated 4 stars - the product by itself is 5 stars.

Useful, Adequate, Minimal
Almost as thin as a DVD, these cases fit well into my crowded shelves. Very useful for DVDs without cases., by intention or accident. That these are clear is a plus - at a glance I can read their labels. They appear reasonably sturdy but could flex, possibly damaging the disc. Definitely weaker than regular DVD cases. Recommended. I just purchased a second batch. Unfortunately, the first came in a handy box, the second did not. Cost-cutting no doubt. Recommended. ..... Review of black cases: Not nearly as good as the clear cases. The post clip for the DVD center sometimes holds, sometimes doesn't. Closure is iffy too. Most don't have a solid "snap" on closing, again unlike the clear version. They do stay closed and have an opening "snap" sound but, still, not up to the other type. Not recommended.

Nice, Feels sturdy But Don't Close Securely--Please Replace All Your Clear/Shiny DVD Cases
The white color is very nice. These seem sturdy like the older ones from the early 2000s. The plastic film for the cover art is nice and thick--it won't easily dent like the cheaper cases. However, 3 of them did not close. In addition, the cases that do close don't close with a tight snap, so they could open up on you very easily if you're not careful. Discs don't stay on the hubs as well as other cases. I HIGHLY recommend you replace all of your clear DVD cases from your commercial sets with opaque ones, similar to this white one or the black ones. Why? Because the clear cases or black ones with high gloss interiors emit a gas that will ruin your DVDs. These shiny cases develop a film on them that eventually transfers to your DVDs. To check for this film, take one of your clear cases and run your finger on the inside. You'll see a shiny spot where your finger wiped off the film. I have experienced this firsthand. If you run into this, here's a solution that might not be the best, but it saved my DVDs: spray the disc with Simple Green, let it sit for a few seconds, then wipe off from the hub to the outer edge with a microfiber cloth. Do NOT use a towel or any other cloth fabric. Also, when wiping off the SImple Green, do NOT wipe in a circular motion. Wipe from the hub to the edge, as if you were cutting a pie. I recommend the AcePlus cases available on Amazon--they are a better quality and all of mine snapped shut. Even the MakTex cases here on Amazon (though a slightly lower quality) were better functioning. I was hoping CheckOutStore cases would work, since they almost as sturdy as the older cases. But I would not recommend buying these, since they don't close as well and three of mine were rendered unusable because they wouldn't close. For the price, I would expect better.

Exactly as described - about half the width of a standard DVD case
Roughly half the width of a standard DVD case, these definitely save space on the shelf. Feel well built. Bear in mind if you intend to keep the cover art you may need to trim a little off the edges.

The corners of about 5-6 cases were broken. There were pieces of plastic in the bottom of the box. Some still close but others don't. For the price I would likely just get DVD cases from Staples or something.
