Même s'il existe une très grande diversité de manuels sur l'économie du développement. Le Todaro est souvent cité, le Perkins est pour moi mieux construit. Les différents thèmes sont abordés... même s'il manque celui du rôle des institutions et l'ensemble a été conçu pour des étudiants qui n'ont pas de connaissances préalables ce qui en facilite évidemment la lecture. Un ouvrage de base assez simple et souvent très clair qu'il serait facheux de mépriser.
