After seeing an Alaskan bush pilot wearing these.. And saying how much he liked them . His main focus was they are not big and bulky .. and are easier to manipulate the foot pedals of his aircraft . I received them two days ago .. I had to use the Super feet insoles to make them comfortable. I have a high arch . They will be a light weight alternative to my LaSportiva Glaciers .. which will still be my go to boot . I will admit there seams to be several different models of this same boot .. I see one with a vibrum sole .. Will see how these hold up ..

Hatte die Stiefel aus der Not heraus gekauft, da ich dringend neue gebraucht hatte. Nach kurzer Zeit eingelaufen, bin damit den portugiesischen Jakobsweg gelaufen und hatte keine einzige Blase oder nennenswerte Druckstelle! Nachteilig empfand ich, dass die Stiefel trotz der gelaufenen KIlometer immernoch sehr steif und unnachgiebig sind und vor allem, dass sich die Schnürsenkel immer wieder gelöst haben.

So, 900km use in 14 months and they are falling apart. I've never had such a badly made boot in my life. Last time I buy from Salewa Previous Review: Really comfortable, but terrible for wet conditions So, plus points... Very comfortable, good fit, lacing and grip. They seem to be waterproof, mostly. The bad: when they get wet, they squelch. Something between the sole and the inner seems to trap water. And they STINK. They smell of wet dog. Not smelly feet smell, but damp wet stinky dog smell. Even after only being worn on a few wet outings, they can't be worn in polite company. So a waste of money, as they are used, but almost unwearable.

Utilisées occasionnellement pour de petites randonnées, elles se décollent déjà au niveau de l'avant du pied!
