I needed an external-regulated alternator that could handle the demands of a Fitech fuel injection, MSD ignition and a powerful electric cooling fan. This alternator is definitely the ticket.

Put this on my 70 Camaro and works wonderfully

After an hour of running, puts out zero volts at idle, can't even keep up with the ignition load, total waste of time and money.

Bench tested New. Also purchased internal regulator unit 9 years ago (working)

Good output. Happy with that. Plug and play and all that. Only gripe is the bearing whines... and yes I have proper belt tension. I dont know what to do about it.
