Works well

I have to admit, I didn't have high expectations for a coated 6 lb downrigger ball with a fin at under $10, but I am pleasantly surprised. The weight was within 1 oz of the advertised weight, the coating looks durable and I couldn't be happier.

But I knew this was going to be bulky. They serve the purpose well enough. If you want to spend the money then go lead for much smaller size. I run 2 and can get to 80 ft deep. The coating is excellent. I lost one so ordered a replacement that was poorly packed and the eyes were knocked off in shipping or were packed that way. Reordered replacement. Hoping for the best. Otherwise unit is adequate so not really complaining.

All you can ask for in a downriggerr ball. I use it for King Salmon, Steelhead, Coho, Brown Trout and Lake Trout out on Lake Michigan and this ball works excellent. I like the aerodynamic design. Less blowback. I wish I would have bought two when I bought both my downriggerrs because I recently had one fall out of the boat so I bought this as a replacement for the first one but I'm tempted to just get another one of these and have the round ball original I bought turn into my backup. Excellent product.

My sticker started to come off after the first use, but it does what is necessary, and is reasonably priced.

Great product 8 lb cannonball was the one I bought two of them they run true through the water and they even have a little bit of reflector you can run a line right off the can about if you want with a clip nice nice deals

For the price I think this is a good weight. I used it for about 7 days in a row so far and have had no issues with it.
