Good value for the money
I was pleasantly surprised when my scope arrived with a nice soft nylon case. There's nothing fancy about the case, but it provides a dedicated compartment for the scope with space for the power supply \charger inside the case. There's also a Velcro sealed pocket inside the top flap. The top has a second zippered divided compartment for probes, etc. the opposite side has another Velcro sealed pocket. You have a choice of a sturdy handle or shoulder strap. The scope itself is sturdy and well made. It has a carry strap that I guess is meant to be used handheld, but the size of the scope may make it a bit cumbersome to hold. It still makes it easy to use as a carrying handle. The handle can be moved to the opposite side, but it will take a bit of work. The scope and meter probes seem to be well made, included alligator clips are a nice touch. The scope probes did not need further adjustment for compensation. I have not tested the accuracy of the two included current shunts (600ma and 10A). The menus take getting used to, but they are well thought out. The multifunction (universal in the instructions) knob\wheel is very sturdy, as is the select button in its center. Adjusting to the white background on the screen was instant. The only annoyance is the loud beep that occurs twice when you turn it on. It will give a quick beep when you operate the controls, this is not annoying, but you can turn it off in a menu. The boot up beep cannot be disabled! Battery life is at least as long as their publicized 4 hours. I was comfortable using it for 4½ hours before the battery indicator went low enough that I wanted to plug it in. Your mileage may vary, though! I was happy to see that the charger\adapter did not introduce any noise or ground loop issues. I could not find mention of charging status as indicated by the power button. Turned off and charging, the power button is green. When the battery is charged, it turns a dim amber. Math functions are a plus, and easy to use. It powers up in the same mode it was in when powered down. I have a top of the line Rigol scope on the bench, and I find I use this scope as often as the Rigol as long as I don't need to diagnose signals at or over 200MHz.

much, much larger than expected!
I like the triggering system as it is very complete. Only thing I haven't figured out is how to keep two traces on the display when logging, actually I was trying to compare a previous to a current run in the meter setting and couldn't get it to work. Easily upgraded to 200Mhz but unlike other siglent scopes, it pretty much stops right there. The 1104x-e for instance, when upgraded to 200Mhz, has a 3db down lovel, at least mine did, closer to 300Mhz where as this scope is aound 220Mhz tops. This is using 250Mhz probes. The color gradients are really nice and I love the white background. Others have wanted a dark mode but I don't see why. Comes with a very nice case though it wasn't mentioned in the listing. Also note that it uses external shunts for current, which I love.

Best SHS8XX model yet!
I have used the SHS806, SHS810 and SHS810X as each model became obsolete; and although the SHS810x is the most expensive, the screen is by far the best and it’s somehow easier to use use than the other two models while offering more features!
