Done book sadly I didn’t take the class

I bought this book for a class. It weighs 8 lbs. There is no reason for any textbook, outside of some specialized medical textbooks, to weigh 8 lbs. I paid $224.00 for it. That's $30.50 per lb. I would have much rather paid $30.50 for a 1 lb book that did not include the hundreds of charts, asides, anecdotes, and digressions the authors of this textbook employ in a transparent attempt to justify the $244.00 price tag. The whole book is almost nothing but an exercise in text box placement. If you must buy it, get the cheapest used copy you can find and after you're done using it, sell it as quickly as you can.

Awesome book but if you are a slow reader I would recommend reading ahead of the class. Lots of important information throughout but a very term dense text.

I always try to help others if I am happy or unhappy with a product. My experience may have been the result of my own ignorance ,and if so, pehaps my review will help someone else.Even though I purchased a NEW textbook, it did not come with the access code I need for test taking for my course.When ordering ANY text you must determing(from the descriptions in the title?) if this text will also come with the needed access codes!Buyer Beware.

I should have purchased from the bookstore as the class requires the online access and this does not include it
