Required item if you want to over-volt any device
Excellent product (although it's hard to screw something like this up). I used to over-volt some devices I had. A pencil sharpener, a weed killer sprayer, and my travel shaver. PS - you have to buy 3.6v AA LiON batteries if you want to over-volt anything. But do so at your own risk. Mechanical devices are more a candidate than electronics. Stuff with motors, you know.

Works for guitar preamp
These work in my Takamine guitar preamp, which eats batteries, so I bought a DI box and run the preamp on 48v phantom power. Couldn’t do it without these dummy cells.

Dimensionally accurate fake battery
Worked as described. Length and diameter are equal to a standard AA battery.

Started to overheat and stink immediately when placed in series with a 3.2v lithium cell.
