We love this pepper. The flavor is very strong and peppery, which makes your food tastes perfect.

This is the only ground black pepper I buy! My husband and family all love their black pepper and the Watkins ground black pepper is the best. I have tried many brands. and Watkins is our preferred brand. It’s sharp and fresh in the can and just perfect in any dish.

There’s is nothing like Watkins pepper! The flavor is more robust and it’s great quality pepper that is not pulverized into pepper dust like a lot of other brands. You will spend more, but it’s worth it to bring a little extra something to your dishes. Keep in mind that it is a thicker product, so if you transfer it out of the tin to refill a pepper shaker, it sometimes doesn’t come out from the shaker as easily.

Watkins black pepper has a purity to the flavor that is not found in many other brands. Many years ago, I sold Watkins products and the black pepper and ground cinnamon were two of the most popular products. The pepper is processed in such a way that it results in little to no powder, so - no sneezing!

It's pepper.I've tried all types of peppers. Usually not pre-ground. I saw the great reviews of this while looking for some more pepper, and decided I'd give it a try. It is good pepper, no doubt. But, I was expecting some flavor explosion. I guess I let the reviews get to my head. I'd say this is better than most, maybe even all other, pre-ground pepper I've had. It is a good pepper and a good buy for sure. It won't beat home ground pepper though. Kind of like no ground coffee will beat whole bean / home ground.

As far as ground pepper, you roll the dice guessing/hoping that it’s not flat, old, meek flakes from some origin and journey unknown. This is the best tasting pepper aside from freshly ground from a pepper mill or grinder and comes with a tamper seal which somewhat seals in the flavor. It’s not shrunk wrapped and has an old school vibe in it’s attractive tin container too. A little pricier than the table salt & pepper spice aisle budget friendly packs, but tastier and packaged to look as nice on dinner table as it is well-sized/shaped for efficient storage in the tight competitive real estate of a spice cabinet while providing durable protection and quality dispensers that open, close and seal well for a long shelf life if needed. I would not expect it to loose a lot of flavor, efficacy or intensity over a few years. The lid is durable and has multiple practical options for pouring, sprinkling, spooning and separated opening that are not all on one tiny round dial that gets clogged or nasty.Well worth the price and reminds me of my Moms spice cabinet when you could find most spices in square metal well sealed containers. But improved and date coded so you know if 30 years has passed since it existed.

So perfect! Flavor is amazing for pre ground seriously! I use this in everything I cook and in shaker for my B&B guests. I just bought the larger size.
