Make your life easier!
I've had this book for a few months now and I love it! I'm studying in an ABA program to become a BCBA and this book is worth every penny. The descriptions are short, sweet and to the point for diagnosing mental health disorders. I'm glad I bought this book before I bought the DSM-5-TR.

High expectations
I had high expectations for this book, but it did not will me as the description said it would be like? However, it's a good book, it gives you more definitive. Symptoms for the different disorders. I like it, but I would've liked to be more. Its almost was like someone telling a story and then giving you what their perspective of the dsm is, but I like it? I keep it readily available in my cars in case I need it to verify some symptoms of people.

This book has been a life saver in helping me get through the diagnosis course in my psych training. The author provides a detailed breakdown of the diagnostic criteria, a representative clinical vignette and explains fully how the vignette fits the diagnostic criteria. This book translated the DSM into student-friendly language and was essential for differential diagnosis. I bought it as a long-term investment for my many years of practice to come!
