Very pretty

I am making a blanket from assorted colors of Lion brand Hometown yarn. I've made a dozen squares so far. 25 stitches a row, 25 rows, per square. For some reason, this particular color of yarn ran significantly shorter than the others. All skeins are same weight. Every other square I've made left over a solid handful of scrap yarn. Enough from each color to make stripes later on. Sadly this square can't even run 25 rows- I literally ran out of yarn. Enough for 24, not for 25, with no yarn leftover. I hate leaving negative reviews but especially for knitting it is so important to be able to trust what our skein details say. Projects rely on it- knitting cannot be undone so easily, after all. So this was a bummer. Quite possibly 25 yards shorter than other skeins of same model. Sad. Otherwise.... colors are great. Reminiscent of cotton candy. Some hometown yarn fanatics know that certain colors are softer than others. This is not a softer one- it's a stiffer knit than the primary colors but comes together beautifully with proper tension control. Looks great next to navy. But I don't know if the other skeins in this color run short so BUY AN EXTRA SKEIN just in case.

Shows up earlier than expected which was great! Yarn is soft, such a pretty color in person and it’s not part of a book blanket I’m making. All of the yarn is the same brand.

I bought this yarn for pom projects. It's so incredibly soft. It does shed a bit, and I can't speak to its use for anything. Makes great poms though. Very happy with it, and it's gorgeous.
