I've tried my fair share of protein bars, and most of them feel like a chore to eat—chalky texture, artificial taste, and a general lack of enjoyment. But the Mezcla Puff Crispy Protein Bars are a total game-changer. They're genuinely delicious, with a light and crispy texture that's more like a rice krispie treat than a protein bar.I love that they're convenient and actually taste like chocolate. All the flavors are fantastic, too. I've tried all of them and they all taste incredibly natural and satisfying. My favorites are Matcha Vanilla and Maple Blueberry. It's hard to believe something this good is also packed with plant-based protein. They're the perfect guilt-free snack for a post-workout refuel or just a midday treat. I'm so glad I found a protein bar I actually look forward to eating!

I love these protein bars! I am usually really weird about protein bars because I don’t like the super chewy grainy candy like protein bars so I love that. These have a nice good crunch to them and that they’re not overly sweet because I’m not a sweet person I like all the different flavors that come in this they are delicious. they’re super healthy. They don’t make my stomach hurt which can be a problem for me as well with protein bars and they don’t melt or get sticky either which I also like because considering that it comes through Amazon, I was worried that they would be sticky or stuck to the wrapper, but these do not melt into the wrapper or anything like that

These are some of my most favorite protein bars and I will absolutely make them a staple in my home! I love the variety of flavors and they're all really good. They're pretty low cal and high protein and makes me so happy that they're all vegan. 10/10 would eat 100 a day if i could. They also fix my craving for a sweet treat as well. They're coated in the bottom and crispy on the top so it has a nice mix with the crunch. Also, just realizing they're gluten free which is such a huge win!

These are delicious! I bought them because I am trying to increase my protein intake, and these came up as a suggestion. I'm glad they did! The flavors are unique and delicious, and the pea crisps give them a nice, pleasing crunch. They are not too sweet, and I'm glad the sugar content is on the low side. I also like that they don't contain lots of chemicals, I can read and recognize all the ingredients. Sadly, they are too pricey for me to buy regularly at about $3 a bar, so I won't be getting them frequently, but they make a really nice treat!

I was lucky enough to chance upon these when they were 40% off. I had wanted to try them, so I got the pistachio chocolate flavour. I'm allergic to whey (dairy), wheat and soy, and these have none of those ingredients. I prefer Mezcla's use of pea protein because I find it the least gritty, and the least discernible in terms of taste. These are fantastic consistency and flavour. I suspect it's because most ingredients are organic, and because Mezcla supports The Hunger Project to end world hunger by 2030. While all that is noble, for me it translates to paying (normally) $3 for one tiny protein bar. I cannot afford that, as I eat a protein bar every day. I suspect there are others like me who are in the same boat. I don't know how long Mezcla as a company can afford to support the Hunger Project, which consumers actually pay for, while still making a profit on sales of their protein bars. For me, I will only be able to buy them on the off chance that they go on sale. :(

Peanut butter flavor: September 2025 - manufactured in Canada, recipe changed.In my photos, YELLOW = original and ORANGE = new.I have been ordering these consistently for probably a year or more. My latest order arrived with new packaging (orange instead of yellow) and a new recipe.The original recipe’s top 4 ingredients are pea crisps, dark chocolate, tapioca syrup, peanut butter.The new recipe’s top 4 ingredients are pea crisps, tapioca syrup, peanut butter, soluble tapioca fiber - chocolate is #13.The new bars seem to have more chocolate than the old ones but the chocolate is much lower quality. It’s more like chocolate confection than actual chocolate. The peanut flavor is also much less pronounced in the new bars. In a side-by-side comparison, the new bars taste strongly of tapioca syrup/sweetener syrups. It’s akin to big-brand sugar-bomb granola bars, unfortunately.The new bars are much more dense and chewy than the old bars. The amount of syrups holding the bar together cause the crisps to lose some of their crunch. The new texture is, unfortunately, much closer to a regular run of the mill protein bar than what Mezcla was originally.I understand Mezcla is probably facing supply chain issues due to the state of the global economy, but it would be much appreciated if the new recipe’s top ingredients could attempt to align with the old ones. These bars are $30+ for a 12 pack already (and I wouldn’t be surprised if the price continues to increase now that they are manufactured in Canada). At that price point, I expect to be paying for chocolate, not tapioca chocolate-flavored confection.

These are perfect! They are light and delicious, yet somehow have 10 grams of protein and under 200 calories! This is the perfect snack for me to help sustain my energy in the morning when commuting to work. My husband and I love them, my personal favorite is the Hazelnut Chocolate! I feel really satisfied but not weighed down with heavy protein, it feels light and delicious!

A WARNING- the hot chocolate flavor is "HOT" chocolate because it has chili powder listed as an ingredient lol. I was caught off guard by the weird burning aftertaste.Bars are nice and crunchy- a very good texture. Not too sweet- in a way that is good for some adults but would probably be bitter to children. In the variety pack the flavors are hit or miss.
