does this brush rotate by itself? Does hair tangle in it?

This brush does not rotate on its own. The bristles are strong but not uncomfortable and my hair does not get tangled.

How do you clean this brush?

I clean the brush as I would any hair brush…first use a comb to remove the hair that accumulates, then I soak it in warm, soapy water. After a few minutes’ soak, I use another bristled brush to scrub it while still in the soapy water, followed by rinsing with fresh, warm tap water. I leave it on the counter until thoroughly dry.

does it blow hot air or is it just like a hot tool?

This item is not a hot tool or electronic. The thermal hair brush is designed to heat while using a blow dryer.
