Hard to hear the TV? You will want to buy this great neck speaker!
My husband purchased the neck speakers for me to use in our bedroom and family room and they work great! I have a hearing issue and this is so easy to use. The bluetooth connection, the quality of the speaker and ease of using the volume control is wonderful. The Monster Boomerang Neck Speaker Bluetooth Wireless is lightweight and is not uncomfortable to use and can fit anyone. I can now watch TV without bothering anyone with the high volume using the TV. Great purchase especially for watching TV quietly and also if you have any hearing issues.

The best neckband speaker out there
I originally bought a Monster Boomerang in 2021 and loved it. The sound is very good and I enjoy being able to listen to podcasts around the house without closing my ears off to the family. It's also nice to go jogging and listen while maintaining awareness. My original finally quit charging (I will say I'm disappointed the charging port only lasted 3 years), so I got a new one. The bluetooth range was horrendous!! I sent it back, hoping it wasn't the result of some new substandard part. Turns out it was just a fluke: the bluetooth on the replacement was better than the original. The updated version also fixed my biggest complaint: the volume increments were too big. I don't need much volume to listen to a podcast at home, so I usually kept it at level 2. But the difference between 1, 2 and 3 was a big jump. This is completely resolved in the new version. I can make subtle adjustments even at low levels. One quirk that still bugs me a little is that the startup volume is around the middle of the range, which is much too loud for me. I have to turn it down every time. Overall, I'd give it a 4.7 out of 5. Pros: Excellent battery life Good sound quality Comfortable and durable Solid bluetooth Sweat-proof Cons: Startup volume is too loud Charging port wore out before its time

Pretty good, some small issues
Bought these for apartment life, hoping to get good TV audio without traumatizing my neighbors. I originally purchased the slightly smaller version and I love it! Battery life is good, admitting that I only use it for a couple of hours a day. Connecting to Wi-Fi is pain-free and latency is as good as any in/on-ear audio I have. I also like the fact that the controls are intuitive: well-placed, and easy to identify by touch with clear raised markings. Its also surprisingly lightweight and comfortable; I’d expect them to be a bit heavier given the sound quality. Sadly, the larger (+ slightly more expensive) one misses the mark in almost every category. Sound quality is just as good. My use is a bit heavier - 3-4 hrs at a time - and battery life is fine so far. But that’s where the comparison falls apart: It consistently needs 2-3 attempts to connect to the TV (I get a partial connection which cycles in/out every second; put it back in pairing mode, back to the TV to search for devices, reconnect, rinse/repeat). It’s the exact same make & model as my other TV, so it shouldn’t be the transmitter firmware. It’s def bigger, but I don’t think it’s to accommodate better speakers. It’s just a thicker silicone casing which then causes new issues with the charging port (on the left inside edge of the collar). Because the silicone is so thick, it’s tricky getting the little cover out of the way, and truly impossible to see where the actual port is. There is always a degree of fiddling/wiggling the USB-C plug to sit down and connect. Another small inconvenience that probably won’t matter to most people: I love the universal magnetic charging cables, which would eliminate the awkward fiddling to recharge. But the port housing is so narrow and thick that it won’t allow the little USB-C magnetic adapter piece to sit down into the slot. I have a 1/2” long raised adapter for that kind of problem, but the adapter would be poking in the throat all the time. I’d have to plug/unplug THAT every time, which is the problem I’m trying to solve. Moving it to the top surface or outside back or side edge would solve it nicely, but they could just cut the port housing 1/32” bigger and solve the whole problem. I also think the controls aren’t as nicely placed and touch-intuitive as the other model. These aren’t major inconveniences. It’s a decent piece of gear. But generally, this model is bigger and heavier without adding significant benefit. I really wish I’d gotten another Petite instead of trying to be fancy.
