These covers are beautiful, soft, and high quality. I am attaching photos of both purchases. I bought light green first then returned for grey. 1st light green: The photo with the towel and blanket show the shade of green of the slip cover. It wasn’t the best shade of green for our room. Pretty but not for us. 2nd grey: Update: This is a beautiful light blue. I was concerned it would be shiny and silvery grey but the color is a deep pretty light blue. I knew this based on reviews, so I chose it prepared for a blue shade, and we love it! These covers are a blessing for us. The quality is excellent- buttery soft. Zippers work well, and fit is perfect. They also come with the Velcro strip as the original Ektorp covers to hold the entire cover in place. The colors can be tricky, so read the reviews, and buy one piece to try out first before buying the whole set (if you’re unsure). Update- The ottoman cover was on back order, but has shipped and fits well. It is light grey (blue) like the rest of the set.

I purchased this for an IKEA chair that I use in my master suite, I have three large rescue dogs. This cover is amazing, the hair doesn’t stick and if it does it wipes right off. D texture is so soft and truly beautiful.

I knew when I ordered what color to expect based on customer reviews and pics. The cover is soft and the color is unique and so pretty. I took the suggestion of another reviewer and ironed the cover and cushion covers on medium heat from the back/inside ( not on the velvet) this took out the wrinkles from packaging. I’m in love with this sofa cover and would highly recommend if you’re debating on purchasing it. Fit perfectly and gave my couch a much needed refresh. I’ll be ordering the chair and ottoman cover at some point in the future .

As others have noted, the light gray couch cover is definitely blue, which I anticipated based upon other reviews. The color is perfect for me. The cover fit the couch base and cushions perfectly. I did do a little ironing before I put it on - just to get out the worst of the creases and to make sure that the pleats on the corners would hang properly. If you do iron it, start with a medium iron and iron it on the wrong side. It’s a gorgeous cover. Very velvety and soft. I’m very happy with it so far.

I was specifically looking for a green velvet Ektorp slipcover that was machine washable. Per the advertisement, this cover ticked all of those boxes. Pros: - It arrived quickly (within 1 week) and undamaged. - The fabric feels buttery soft; it is unlined but a good weight for a slipcover (not light but not too heavy, either). - The color is a vibrant emerald, and the piping is even. - Despite not having Oeko-tex certification (a criterion I had to give up to stay in budget), it arrived with NO smell except a very mild laundry soap. - I agree with their claim (so far) that it is a good fabric for cats and dogs if their nails aren't very sharp. - Overall, it fits the Ektorp nicely, especially the body and the back cushion. Neutral: It is a warm fabric, possibly too warm for summer if you don't have AC, but that's the nature of velvet. Cons: - The product page explicitly says that it is "machine washable;" however, the bag our cover was in stated "dry clean or spin dry." I'm not 100% sure that the bag is for the cover, as the rest of it is written in Chinese, so possibly packaging was reused. Also, "spin dry" is not a means of cleaning—it's a means of drying. So, also unsure of whether or not it was falsely advertised as machine washable. For this reason, I deducted 1 star. - For the price ($189), I would expect better stitching. There are areas of puckering on the seat cushion covers (at the corners) that are caused by improper sewing. There is also an area on one cushion where it looks like they had to repair it (which I'm actually OK with) but it was repaired with bright white thread that's very noticeable. We flipped the cover over to hide it but it should not have been repaired/sewn that way. I didn't deduct further because it looks nice, is soft, and my whole family seems to be enjoying it (just worried about the washing).

I've had these covers now for a few months and I am very happy with them. They are very soft and comfortable and fit my couch, chair and ottoman very well. I have 3 dogs so I have to wash the covers frequently. They went through the washer and dryer and came out looking like new with no shrinkage. The only thing to keep in mind as other reviewers have mentioned, if you order the gray covers, they are actually more of a light blue color than gray. That was fine with me as I originally wanted light blue covers anyway.

I purchased the light green sofa cover and I love it as it fits perfectly with my cottage-core style. The material is soft and luxurious feeling and it looks amazing on my sofa. I have no issues with fit whatsoever knowing that you must start at a front corner and work your way to the back and around to the front again. You must go all in one direction and in a circle. Front left, back left, back right, front right or in complete reverse. And then once the cushion covers are on pick that cushion up on the sides and smack it down on the flat side to distribute it evenly inside the cover. This might take a few tries to get things right. I am so satisfied with this cover (prewashing) that I’m considering purchasing a back up just in case it doesn’t wash as well as I’d like. Very satisfied and glad to have found this cover that fits the Ikea Ektorp sofa perfectly.

The fabric feels like butter, so soft! Worth the money, for sure.
