Excellent light, just what I need for illumination where I want it, when I want it. I love that the light part is long and slim and able to fit between things on the desk to illuminate what I'm working on. The base is surprisingly lightweight and I admit I would prefer it to have a smaller footprint but then the whole thing would topple over; the only way to avoid that is to have a heavier, smaller base. The on/off switch is easily accessible, being a touch switch on the base. It's large enough that I'm not feeling around to find it when the base is behind something else and the dimmer works very well. It's easy to charge via it's own USB cable. The charge doesn't last very long but is ok for my purposes as I'm using it with the lap top and can recharge when necessary. I'm very pleased with it. 5 stars and highly recommended.

For a desk lamp I probably wouldn't recommend it, but it does shine in some areas. For a Philips branded lamp, it does have an air of tackiness to it. The plastics and general feel aren't the best and the operation or functionality of the switch, dimmer and light mode is less adept than a couple of other lamps i've used in the past. It is a reputable firm though and one would expect the internal battery to last many years, which isn't always the case with Chinese branded stuff which from experience might last a year or so of use. Absolute brightness wouldn't be a strong point either. For bedside use though, which is how i'm using it. it works well enough. I wanted soft lighting for occasional use finding things in the dark, so choices are limited. I do think it's easily bright enough for reading too though, without disturbing your partner too much.. Positives: Light modes and dimmer, for soft to harder light at different intensities. Adjustable hinge for focusing the light into a specific area. Small footprint. Big name brand with many years of life expected from the leds and battery. Rechargeable, so no trailing wires Negatives: Feels like a cheaper Chinese factory lamp. Easy to knock over as it isn't bottom heavy. Operation of the lamp isn't the best/easiest.

Not only was this lamp able to get much brighter than I expected, but it also had extra functions, being able to switch to a warmer colour or even a mix between the original white and warm orange. I use it as my bedside lamp for when I'm on my phone or reading and it really does help in the dark. I find myself charging the battery once every 2 days or so but that's only because I use the brightest setting so if you use it on a lower brightness then I'm sure the battery life won't be too bad either. Also the portability is really good as it doesn't require any wires.

Can't complain at all. Would highly recommend waiting for sale. I purchased the 'Ivory Desk Lamp' from Amazon Warehouse deals much cheaper than the other price there (£50 new compared to £21). Nothing wrong with the product as far as I can tell despite there being a warning. Pros: - Touch-adjustable light, and light intensity. Very modern. - Fully adjustable upto 180 degrees in-line with the stand. - Can use wirelessly using rechargeable battery. - Uses Type-C USB input. - Larger lamp size. Cons: - None for me.

Bough an expensive unbranded lamp last January for £35 which only lasted a year. At first had to solder wires around the switch due to a terrible built quality but after that it failed again elsewhere. After that I came across this one which is a famous brand and also has a build it rechargeable battery which means you can be very flexible where you use it. It folds and becomes quite compact. Could be just a bit brighter but still very good!

Looks good, slim line and easily stored away with choice of 3 colour themes, good value for money given Philips hue products can be pricey.

Light emission was low. Not a great product so sent it back. It’s also expensive

Good quality and CRI light, adjustment of the brightness and colour temperature is quite finicky but you’ll get used to it eventually. Was worth it on discount for €25. I also love the integrated battery and USB C connection.

So good. Have it in a holiday let and it keeps getting stolen. This is my third purchase.
