Best and easiest boresighter out there
This is simply the best boresighter for the money. I've spent more for a single caliber laser boresighter than this one cost and it works on ALL calibers I have. I checked it with a couple of rifles that I put scopes on but haven't gotten to shoot yet, I'm confident it will be really close to properly aligned before the first round goes down range. I say that because I used it to check the alignment on a few rifles that I have zeroed in at 100 yards, it aligned perfectly with them which verified the boresight is accurate. The only rifle I couldn't get to fit was my .17 WSM, the bore crown is super tight. So I wasn't surprised I couldn't get it in. This set is a must have!

Well built, affordable, and modular
Sustainments: -affordable -money saver (don’t have to waste ammo on initial zeroing) -modular (fits barrels tightly ranging from .17 cal up to .78 cal(12GA)) -doubles as a cool laser to mess around with -comes with 2 sets of batteries -the company owner seems like an honest person just trying to have a business -good for zeroing in a daylight setting -high quality material Improvements: -the laser is not adjustable in light level -instructions could be put better (I didn’t even notice the screws until I started messing with it (I didn’t read the instructions carefully)) That pretty much sums it up, it’s a good boresight, unusual design that caught my eye, not like conventional bullet lasers, comes with everything you need for any rifle, I plan on using this thing for a long time, and even sharing it with friends who need it to do initial zeroing on their rifles/weapons. I hope the business owner does great things, and it warms my heart to see a service member start a business after their career in the armed forces.

Great boresight for this pricepoint
This is the second product that I've purchased from Tacticon Armament. Their customer service is great and their products are well made. This laser took me a few minutes to figure out how to use, there were instructions included but they were limited in my opinion. On the back side of the instructions was a URL for a video on how to use this laser. I found this after figuring it out myself. The instructions are my only gripe...this is a good product at a good price! Instead of needing a different boresight for each caliber of gun, I now have one well-made inexpensive boresight that will work in every gun I own.

Great tool
I love this laser. I’ve had several in the past, all the ones that are like a round that you insert in the BCG and barrel of the weapon. First, it looks well built. No burs or abnormal markings anywhere. Sesond, the way it is packaged and the box/container it was in is impressive. I don’t usually care about what the box looks like, but it was form fitted and everything fit just perfect to where there is no movement at all to possibly damage the laser or accessories. Fourth, it is very easy to use. If you have ever seen a boresight tool for an Abrams, this looks similar to me. Which brings back good memories from being a tanker. But that’s neither here not there. It was very simple to size the correct adapters for your caliber weapon. Lastly, I was able to zero in my .308 and .223 Wylde all with one tool. Only had to swap out one small adapter. This eliminates you having to put your fingers in the barrel without having the bolt face strike your finger if you have a sensitive bolt release.

Useless, not functional
When it comes to precision tuning, usability is binary, works or doesn't. This one doesn't! As others noted, after finding the correct insert for my 9mm handgun, and in my case it was NOT the pouch labeled 9mm! - and inserting the laser into the barrel, rotating it makes the laser dot travel in a circle which ultimately means that the device can't be used with repeatable results, and can't be trusted to point along the barrel's axis, and hence is useless. At 20 ft the circle diameter is 1.5 - 2 inches! And the "dot" is actually a smeared line. It's not about the value to price mark, in this case the boresighter is completely useless as such. I bought the Site-Lite, and it is fantastic! Zero movement of the dot upon rotation, and insertion is not affected by rifling. Excellent design, excellent implementation and quality. All those cheapo brands obviously made by granpa Li's donkey after a day of hard work on rice fields are worthless and will not align your optic or laser. Returned along with those feyachi and EZ* garbage.

Great value and quality. Get you one ;)
I don't know if you've looked lately, but even half way decent universal bore sights aren't cheap and the cheap ones are...well...cheap. I don't do many product reviews, but this is bang for the buck and works great. The packaging alone is quality. Instructions are limited but it's relatively straight forward if you know what you are doing a little bit. If you don't know what you are doing what some youtube vids. It feels sturdy in your hand, the switch is not chincy, and it secures well in the barrel. What's not to like? Paid for mine and they most certainly are not holding my family hostage and forcing me to write this if I ever want to see them again (btw).
