the great quality for the low price
had this set for about 3 months now. i’m a machinist and i run 2 cnc’s on nightshift and manual when i need to. so it’s definitely taken a few drops and bangs. lots of coolant and hot chips, and it’s still doing exactly what i need it too. and when it says the magnetic is strong, it means the magnet is STRONG! definitely a 5 star product for the price.

Good price, magnet is good enough.
So far it appears to function just fine. I originally ordered the Nano for the different dial indicator. But it was too small, this will still mount a dovetail indicator though.

Very good tool.
Used to installed lsd locker and new ring/pinion. Worked very well with no issues

A must have for precision work!
If you are fimalure with any type of machine work, this item is a must and the pricing is great. When I had my shop, zI used a unit very similar to this. If you work or hobby demands precision, this is a must have. And for us older guys, the dial is large enough to read!

Strong magnetic base and indicator is accurate
Decent dial indicator and strong magnetic base. I use this for setting wheel bearing end play. Works perfect for my needs.

Returned, Dial gauge was less than expected.
Returned, Dial gauge was much lower quality than expected, the bevel was stiff to rotate, the bevel lock had nothing to do with the drag. Obvious the unit could not be to zeroed without disturbing the setup. The entire face of the gauge had slop in the rotation of the bevel. The magnet and the arm seemed okay, but the gauge was disappointing, I returned the unit without any attempt to use it. The plastic box is very poor too, not that the box matters.

The stand works perfectly fine. I would like to ask Neoteck to also offer the magnetic stand with a dial indicator or plunge indicator (as shown). The plunge indicator is good but I find that I use dial indicator much more than plunge indicators.

Unfortunately, I hadn't realized that my table saw is not magnetic, so I haven't used it much, but from what I've seen, it performs as expected.

It’s not a starette but it can tell thousandth of an inch movement.
