Thank you JVC for making these. For the people who don’t want a giant touchscreen in their older car but they want a new stereo, this is for you. It was easy to install and looks great in my Subaru Forester. My iPhone was easy to pair with it and immediately connects every time I start my car. You can also plug it in through the USB port or AUX input. The colors are great and very customizable. And it makes my speakers sound even better. It’s great.

Installed in a '94 Camry because I wanted Bluetooth connectivity but felt a touchscreen would look out of place in an older car and didn't need all of the Carplay etc functionality. I just connect my Pixel smartphone via BT and do everything on my phone, and it works great! High quality unit, all of the controls and button placement is very intuitive and natural, everything just works! Installation was easy. I have NOT experienced some of the Bluetooth connectivity issues others have mentioned - my phone connects very quickly and stays connected. I have no issues and am very happy with this purchase!

Just to be warned! I did not buy this for a car! This little beauty was the brain of a stereo I built for my wife. The sounds amazing with the speakers I paired it with! The manual is quite clear for set up and changing colors. The look is beautiful set against a black stained wood surface, and would say it was perfect for the cost. Still don't know how loud max is... We are both scared to crank it. Lol

Amazing deck. It can pick up on sizes of all my speakers and amps. It was perfectly priced and it is gonna last a long time. It had more functions then most expensive brands. Although the volume stops at 35 thats my only down side.

As I have owned nothing but Alpine since 1984 this was a interesting purchase. If you like setting the bass and treble for nearly every song, you are going to hate this receiver... But here is the good. The volume is like a modern car stereo so you don't blow speakers easily, it doesn't have a filter like some, but limits it to a tolerable distortion level at max volume. Its sound quality is poor at low volume, like when talking to someone, but from 1/4 to 3/4 it absolutely has outstanding clarity and quality for when you are driving. It gets a little fluttery when pushing it hard, but definitely does a decent job. Yes a Alpine will beat it for sound quality at max volume, but do you listen to everything at max? Its loud, clean, and with a handful of bass frequencies and treble adjustments it sounds just as good as any Alpine. It just doesn't at low and max volume. I would buy again for the price, and would recommend it to anyone looking for a decent quality head unit at a cheap price.

Installed this in a 2014 Dodge Grand Caravan. So far I am very happy with the radio. The colors can be adjusted to make it appear like a factory radio. Sounds good and is on par with a factory radio with the factory speakers. It can go louder and I assume it would pair well with aftermarket speakers as well. Once paired with my phone it set the clock by it's self which was nice. Another nice feature is that when you restart the car it picks back up where you left off streaming Spotify even if you shut the app off in your phone. So glad I bought this instead of a cheaper unit. It is definitely worth the little extra money. You can install this with a cheap adapter you will need to tap 2 wires in the console red will go to your switches cigarette lighter circuit, orange and white go to the lighting circuit positive. 2014 Dodge Grand Caravan SXT without amplifier. The install kit I used was a Scosche ICCR6BN

Sometimes I hate Amazon. I’d like to contact the seller but apparently that’s not an option. I bought this unit months ago for my classic car and just finally installed it. It’s connected according to the instructions but when I turn the volume up it shuts off but only when the volume is up. I’ve gone through all connections, googled what I can over and over but still it doesn’t work. Please help. Thanks

This JVC Car Stereo is a simple yet solid car radio upgrade. I installed it for my neighbor, and while it wasn’t exactly plug-and-play in his Hyundai, splicing about a dozen wires wasn’t too bad. Once installed, it worked great—fixing the intermittent issues with his old radio. He was especially happy with the USB port, which was a must-have for him, and the sound quality is noticeably better than his default radio. All in all, a straightforward solution for anyone looking to replace a faulty car stereo.

Unit has a lot of features and sounds good. Easy to install. Down side. Two important control buttons are very small and in awkward positions. Radio buttons have no lights. Programming immediately forces you to choose 2way or 3way speaker choice on initial start up. I can find no way to change this if you change speakers. Lastly no option to adjust sound for Frt/Rr, L/R balance, only vague general pre programed positioning. Not good.

Worked decent then the display quit a week after the warranty Likely not a great choice havent had the nerve to see what it will cost me to repair out of pocket Ughhhhh
