I purchased this to replace the original mouthpiece that came with my Aerophone Mini, which was like blowing through a straw. This is much nicer, and replicates most saxophone and recorder mouthpieces. A great value!

I have owned an AE-10, Ae-30 and now an AE-20. In each case my #1 issue has been the lousy plastic mouthpiece. I am primarily a sax player and use hard rubber mouthpieces. Playing on a plastic mouthpiece just doesn't feel right. When I saw this silicon piece for an Aerophone I did not think it could function very well. Now I can't believe it hasn't been standard issue on all Aerophones. I absolutely love this thing! I no longer stop playing after 10 minutes. The silicon mouthpiece is very comfortable. I now play on my Aero just as long as I play on my saxes. I will feel more comfortable using my Aero on gigs now. Thanks GEEK for a great product!

Bought this as a backup for my AE-30 after reading about it on a social post. This mouthpiece might be good for someone without any background in wind instruments but does not feel familiar to my embouchure as a sax player. My other concern is its lack of rigidity may put the reed control lever at risk of damage. Outside of those criticisms, this is a good cheap backup that will live in my case. And might occasionally get some experimental use. Dishwasher safe is a plus too.

Works well. AE01 sounds good with this mouthpiece. Softer than original mouthpiece

If you play a reed instrument you might still prefer a reed style mouthpiece

Wanted a backup spare mouthpiece for AE-20. Nope, not even close. Soft rubber, does not work with bite sensor, just plain annoyance.

I’ve only been using it an hour, but I love this mouthpiece. I may even reactivate the bite sensor and see how it works. I was a little wary, but it turns out for no reason. Thanks, Geek!

It’s the only mouthpiece I use for my AE-30. It’s soft on the bite and cuts down on drool.

This is so much better than the Roland mouthpiece with the redundant reed. If you want to play your Aerophone with the ease of a recorder this is the mouthpiece to use. I can now produce expressive, reliable sound.

Absolutely awesome replacement for the reed style piece that comes as standard with AE-01. Allows for more controlled and expressive use of breath alone, is exponentially more comfortable and doesn’t leave one worrying about bashing teeth when just messing around on mini. Definitely recommend for anyone using mini - can’t comment on how it is with more advanced models but clearer more controlled breath expressions when used on mini. Thanks so much for producing these, only type available (other than expensive imports of discontinued Roland versions). Excellent price. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend. Well produced, fits superbly and high quality materials used. Absolute game changer!!
